K - Music! (discussiom and recs.)

Hello fellow korean music lovers!

While I was scanning this forum in search for new music that is not k-pop I noticed there isn't much about it, so might be best to do a general one and hope for the best :)

This topic is for recomend and discuss your favorite non k-pop k-music such as r&b, rock, indie, lofy etc.
Or just your underrated favorite artists\bands\hidden gems.

I hope we'll have great thread of cool and good music recs and talks!

Let's share each other uniqe taste and maybe find our next favorite gem~

I like musics in general and I follow new music releases.

From your favorites, I like Keshi, his voice is soothing and he's so romantic with his ehm fiancee? (May?), maybe that's why he could create great musics. I especially like 'Understand' but 'Dream' and 'skeletons' (SVT's DK ringtone) are very good too.

DPR IAN is unique, I remember 'Mood' is very good and feel new (for me). '1Shot' is pretty good too.

Currently for Korean music, I listen most of:

• Ateez - they're so powerful and daring. Jongho has a beautiful voice. Ah no, actually they're all have beautiful voices
• Enhypen - they're hardworking and have one of the hardest choreography out there and some of the best songs out there
• Stray Kids - they're all so talented and each of them are unique, I really like their harmony

For girl groups:

• aespa - they're great; the songs, the musics, the addictive melody and uniqueness of each songs are incomparable
• BLACKPINK - even though the list is short but all of their songs are masterpieces
• IVE - used to make great songs ah but their latest release is not as good just like New Jeans

For solo singer:

• Baekhyun - is very suitable with his choice of music genre but his range is not vast
• Kyuhyun - has angel voice and very stable, he is definitely an angel
• Taemin - has unique voice who can get stretch as he like, like singing lazily but charming and sexy

I'm really not into the k-pop scene (I have some specific groups I like but it's mostly song or a colectoin of them so can't say I know much about it :/)
I'd love it if you could recommend me some of your favorite songs of them, preferably less on the 'pop' side (only if you wanna, its just my curiosity~) because just looking at discography without knowing where to start is overwhelming XD (had it with TXT and I'm NOT going through this again)

enhypen, they have some good tunes! I like 'mixed-up' and 'given-taken' the most, but feel like it's been ages sience I last listened to them.

NEW ADDITIONS to my Playlist (well, not new but newly discovered ~)

Wetter - if you've watched 'The Eight Sense' you probably know 'U n Me Us' by them, which is a great song. They have such a good music and their beats always giving my the feeling of the beach.

O.O.O - Love the singer's voice. so clean and calming. their sound to, is diverse but with a very clear line and I can listen for them for hours.

HYUKO - just feeling like they have my back fir when I'll do any mistakes or regret my actions.  like: "it's alright. that's life." sorta feeling.

Jackson Wang is inspirational. Everytime he talks, I feel a burst of admiration towards him. And he's also a great rapper, dancer, and entertainer. His deep voice is unique, my bias wrecker, but my heart goes to Jay B.

Last year Jay B released an album with two songs being made into music videos; Crash and Cloud Nine. You could check it out if you'd like to. Both great songs. And last month GOT7 also released an album. Python is the main title, my friend said. I haven't watched the MV but I listen to the songs. I really like Out The Door.
