YES, THIS EXACTLY! American shows change the story all the time based on what the audience wants. It would be a plot twist if we find out he's actually alive in the end, like in the Marvel movies where there's a secret cut scene after the credits 🙃

But even if he doesn't survive at the end, at least they're together in some AUs 😌
