I only see some of the stars :D

So some stars and heart emojis still work ❤️💕💞🩷🩵💚🧡💜💓❤️‍🩹❤️‍🔥🌟🌠💫

Yes, we need all the hearts and stars we can get.

I was going through the latest pages of the Harvard thread, but I need to stop it. Those interpretations are making me feel even worse. It’s all too sad.

I just saw your post lol. I said the same thing.

Ok, I just read a theory on the XL & XY forum that the Shen Nong army could have survived and XL could've been Xiao Liu's forever companion.

"there was a real possibility for the Shen Nong army to continue to hold out indefinitely or restore their lost kingdom, based on the analysis of the political situation at the time. If this analysis held water, then Xiang Liu could have hoped to survive and be the lifelong companion that Xiao Liu wished for, without ever abandoning Hong Jiang or his comrade-in-arms. If only... "

All these theories and digging deep into the story make me even more sad about what could have been.

idk why posts go out of order sometimes.

Anyway, gifs tomorrow (or technically later today)

Something to cheer everyone up.  Tan Jian Ci (and his fans) just can't let Xiang Liu / Fang Feng Bei go.  I love it!

She gets a servant and someone who says yes to her all the time. Oh, and someone she has to protect now since he's weakened from the tail loss. AHAHAHAHA I'm laughing just thinking about it. I'm so cold too >:D

 nathsketch:

I hope they remove all the fluffy bits.

Oh my God.  You guys have moved beyond cold to sub zero.  ouch.

 Elise:

I'm skipping everything of his but for the other YaoLius that don't skip, I hope they removed all that disgusting lovey dovey bits too.

 nathsketch:
Pure savagery mode! So much respect to you. Thank you for the gifs and for the honesty.

Yes.  Definitely savagery mode!  I am in awe of you guys.  You too, Badgal1995  ... you guys are taking no prisoners.

I've been saying the same thing, just over the length of that thread, ever since I found that alleged casting sheet which said that XL planned for a future with XY ... until she revealed her identity.  There's no way he would have taken the Poison Love Bug, if he didn't plan on a future with them together.

And I've repeatedly said that whether she admitted it or not, XY basically chose CX's life over XL's life every time she stepped between them.  Especially once we started discussing the political situation, when I realized that XL was working with the Great Clans of the Middle Plains to supply his army.

It is sad, but for a different reasons, and it makes me understand and appreciate XL more.  He was righteous and loyal, but he wasn't suicidal.  He did his best to honor both of his commitments, and still had hope, until he was boxed in by those loves.

One part at 2:15, TJC said TH wrote the story perfectly, However, if he were to rewrite the story and prioritize XL's selfishness, after the 37 years, it's the end and happy ever after~! LOL

And the sequel to Lost You Forever will be The Underwater World.

He's so damn funny I can't HAHA

Even if i said I'm not continuing LYF anymore, I found myself watching it (the torture!)
But because previously I skipped most of CX/FL scenes, now that I let it play without skipping, I didn't expect FL to be so entertaining to a point I literally LOL.

And his scenes with CX at the same freaking mountain top is just hilarious to me.

However, now I just feel super uncomfortable watching scenes between XY and TSJ. Knowing that XL could feel her emotions, as audiences, it's just too painful to watch!

On the other hand, what I've noticed (not sure if it's me only), i feel something is off with this production. They reduced so many things from XL to XL-XY scenes. I even felt CX scenes (his collaboration with FL & TSJ) was too over simplified, but they added lots of moments between XY-TSJ & even amplified TSJ (I can see the effort in their scenes now that I'm rewatching)

One thing I notice in this show, XL and TSJ represent this idiom "actions speaks louder than words."

But the setup is, XY tends to be eaten up by words of TSJ and failed to realize the actions by XL.

XY-ah...

Yes.  That's that exact idiom and gif applies.  And XY recognizes that in the beginning.  But forgets it as time goes one, especially when he returns to being the princess.

Feng Long was a lot of fun.  He's a very open and direct guy, with refreshingly little trauma.  That mountain top scene pretty much capped all his scenes with CX, and made them a couple in my mind.  LOL!

It just shows you what a selfless guy, XL was.

Not having read the book, I didn't know what was missing or added.  I still came away impressed and enjoying the XL scenes the most.  To me, Jing was set up from the beginning as unreliable.

Put him in the script writers room!  I'd definitely watch that sequel.
