The World of Dramas according to kisskh

There are different methods you can use to choose the next drama to watch. For example, go by the dramalist of your favorite star. Or focus on the ratings given by viewers. You can take the dramas that have generated the greatest interest (by number of watchers).

And there are also recommendations. On MDL each drama has a list of other dramas that were liked by those users who like this drama. Having collected such recommendations, you can use them to create a map of the world of dramas, in which each drama is connected with several recommended other dramas. Thanks to such recommendations, the dramas on the map are collected into clearly visible groups - Mysteries, Historical, and so on, which helps to select the most suitable candidates for watching. Let's consider several such worlds, and after Douban lets look at MDL world.

To build it, I used 1,289 dramas with at least 10,000 MDL watchers and took 6 recommendations from each, which are shown on the map as lines. The more viewers a drama has, the larger its dot. The color represents the country. The following files show the full world map with drama names in different languages:
