Try my list of Fluffy or Low Angst dramas. Below are some of the chillest dramas. Most aren't Chinese.
For calm, sweet dramas, try A Calm Sea and Beautiful Days with You (no villains except for inner voices that often tell us untruths); Amidst a Snowstorm of Love (probably the most relaxing drama I've ever viewed); One Day Off (for being a drama about nothing, it was profound about finding contentment and joy in small things; many quotable moments); and Overprotected Kahoko (a naive girl in a slice of life drama).
For comedies that mostly won't raise your blood pressure: Modern Farmer (washed up rockers try farming); The Pork Cutlets (silly, over the top, but we all need to laugh when life is rough); Welcome to Waikiki (three bachelors open a guesthouse). I'm not a big fan of straight comedies, but I found Modern Farmer and Welcome to Waikiki surprisingly sweet, though zany.
Romcoms often have some conflict (love triangles and such), but here are a few that aren't too painful to watch: Brewing Love (man with trauma is confronted by a girl who won't quit in trying to save her company's brewery); Business Proposal (a man decides to marry the next blind date his grandfather sets up in order to get it over with); Exclusive Fairytale (two childhood friends, with one realizing his dependence on the other); Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha (dentist flees to a seaside village and rubs the town chief the wrong way); Love 020 (a gamer falls for a computer science major); My Sweet Mobster (a former gangster falls in love with a children's entertainer); Still 17 (deals with trauma, but the drama is so life-affirming, healing, and sweet); Touch Your Heart (an actress is forced to work with an attorney for a role); Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo (I can't express how much I love this drama; the friends to lovers progression was delightful); and What's Wrong with Secretary Kim (I don't recall anything too angsty in the show).
Most historical Chinese dramas are fairly bloody and filled with court intrigues and angst. I did watch Your Sensibility My Destiny. I found the ending problematic, but you may not. Another is Yes, Her Majesty. I found it average, but it had a feel-good ending. Queen and I is a time-traveling drama I enjoyed very much (oops, that's South Korean). Rookie Historian Goo Hae Ryung does have some angst, but it's small compared to most historical dramas (yikes, another SK drama sneaked in). The Romance of Tiger and Rose is Chinese and a costume drama. I enjoyed it immensely, and I think you would, too. Maiden Holmes is set in 6th century A.D. There are deaths, but it's relatively low angst. Blossoms in Adversity contained many difficult topics: abuse, infidelity, poverty, etc. There were murders and torture scenes. I still felt it was very life-affirming and comforting. I'm a Pet at Dali Temple is silly, but I loved the cat.
I asked for Chinese historical fluffy dramas on the search engine, and only four showed up, and I've not seen any of them: Chef Fang, A Love so Romantic, Eternal Love Rain, and Concubinage Record Season 2 (I guess season 1 wasn't fluffy!).
