Romance drama/movie similar to Kimi Ni Todoke

I recently watched Kimi Ni Todoke and really loved it. Can anyone rec me something with a similar romance? I tried Koizora but was really turned off by the plot twist in the middle, and once the ending became obvious I stopped watching. Thank you very much!

Thanks for the reccomendation. That does seem like it will be similar. Yes, slice of life, simple sweet straightforward romance was what I was looking for. I think I've been overdosing on melo stuff recently, maybe that's why this little movie seemed so sweet and refreshing :)

I was going to suggest Tatta Hitotsu no Koi but you've seen it (I loved it) I could suggest Lovely Complex (Jmovie) not exactly like Kimi Ni Todoke but it is romance and it's high school setting. I haven't seen the movie but I have seen the anime series and I liked it alot. I don't blame you for struggling with Koizora. I've seen the series and I found the angst was too much for me. Loved the romance part though....

It's also about a girl that is bullied, but becomes friends with a guy and starts to come out of her shell :)
