One of my all time favorite American TV shows is Dexter, which is about a serial killer who is very clever and is able to conceal his murders. Are there any kdramas about evil main characters that get away with their wrongdoings (for most of the series, at least)? Flower of Evil sounds similar, but I think it's not 100% certain that the ML is a serial killer yet. It doesn't have to be about a serial killer though.

The Guest  - one of the villains got away with it in the end,  which made me want to watch a season 2 of it.

  • The Devil/Lucifer and the Japanese remake Maou
  • Hell is other people
  • The Smile has left your eyes or the Japanese original One Million Stars Falling from the Sky
  • Cruel City
  • Less Than Evil which is remake of british series Luther.  The female main character is the one that is a psychopath and mesmerizing to watch.
  • A story of a Man
  • Trap
  • Pied Piper

Hello Monster aka I Remember You. For much of the drama it's unclear whether the ML is evil or not. The ML's brother (also a central character after a certain point in the drama) is raised by a serial killer (another central character). By the end of the drama, all three have pretty much gotten away with their wrongdoings up to that point (including the ML not turning in his brother). However, at the end of the drama the ML is still working on catching the serial killer and it's implied that the ML's brother is about to turn himself in for his crimes so that he can serve his time and eventually live openly in society with his brother again instead of hiding and being on the run with the serial killer
