So as I obsessively work my way through the Asian dramas on my list, I'm noticing that a lot of the plots revolve around misunderstandings. I can take little bits of it because in life misunderstandings happen, but I really can't take it when the ENTIRE plot is based off misunderstandings. For example, I just finished Fated to Love You, and it was good--loved the drama. But dude, the misunderstandings drove me nuts! Not in a good way. And Innocent Man? Yeah I couldn't get more than two episodes into it, because it was one giant misunderstanding and I just couldn't handle it. My top favorite shows like Faith, Queen In-Hyun's Man, and Secret Garden had other things to revolve the plot around rather than just misunderstandings. Does that make any sense? So what were your favorite dramas that didn't involve tons of miscommunication as the driving plot?
Yes, it makes perfect sense. Too many misunderstandings and miscomunication drive me nuts, too! Some good dramas that didn't have that:

Bambino!
Biblia koshodou no jiken techou
Chase
Dinner
Shima no sensei
Shinya Shokudo
Thank you so much for the list! I'll go through them now!
I'm with you on this. I find a drama annoying when the whole plot could be resolved if people would just talk to each other.

I recommend:
Arang and The Magistrate
King2Hearts
Protect The Boss

And if you don't mind older dramas:
Bad Family (More like a family comedy, but with a light romance)
Dal Ja's Spring

Enjoy!
I had a same problem with Fated to Love You. Autumn's Concerto is similar when it comes to misunderstandings but I think is much better.

The Vineyard Man Very nice drama
City Hall one of my favorites
Master's Sun fun, and great chemistry between the leads.
Oh! My Lady relaxing and fun, adorable little girl
The King of Dramas Very interesting characters. Main actor is amazing and actress is also great. This drama is underrated in my opinion. One of the rare I would watch again.
Lovers, amazing chemistry between the leads, witty dialog,
My Name is Kim Sam Soon funny and yummy in so many ways. :D
What's Up Fox? older female younger male with two leads actually having good chemistry.
Material Queen Taiwanese drama, I don't remember having a huge misunderstanding that lasted through all episodes. There was one at the beginning but it gets resolved fairly quickly.

I forgot to add Japaneses dramas. They don't have lots of misunderstandings.

Atashinchi no Danshi very fun
Last Cinderella older female younger male one of the best of this type.
Love Shuffle interesting and a bit unusual in a good way.
Rich Man, Poor Woman great characters and amazing acting.
You guys rock! Thank you so much for the suggestions!
Let me add one more to the list: Love Now
Actually when I was the most annoyed by all of this, I started this drama and... I was shocked on how fast misunderstandings were treated, and ciao. Plus, there are no evil character which was really agreable because I had too much evil in the last drama I had seen.
Even though it's quite long(72eps ~40min), it doesn't feel boring or so. I quite marathoned them.
This drama is so refreshing and light hearted, yet sweet and addictive. Side stories are GREAT too!!
I definitely recommend it to you!
