I really want to vote for GagaOOLala to be recognized as a streaming platform on MDL, my problem is that my Firestick and Roku both won’t play this app. I originally got a Roku just for GagaOOLala and now it can’t be played on this platform. I can watch the GagaOOLala app on my laptop or iPad, but not my TV.
I hope they clear up whatever issue they have with Roku, but until then it can be steamed on my actual TV. Regardless of the homophobic labeling, which I agree is egregious, it’s hard to label GagaOOLala as a recognized streaming platform when you just can’t actually steam it. Side note, I tried a VPN, but still couldn’t access from my actual TV, so I gave up on that.
In tech, streaming means sending and processing data continuously, in real time or near-real time, instead of waiting for the entire file to download first. It’s literally streaming when you are watching it on your laptop.
I don’t know if you have an AppleTV device, but you can use airplay between iPad and AppleTV to watch Gaga on big screen. They are pretty cheap, and based on a new gen - there’s probably a ton of older gen out there dirt cheap.
