Add Vietnam to the Database next

just started my first Vietnamese drama and wow it's so good! it took me very long to find in part bc it's not on MDL, so 100% Vietnam should be the next country added

What is it called and where did you find it?

July 1st - add Vietnam and Gaga to the list of services by then or I'm going to assume that you have no to intent to ever do that and I'm going to replace this website.

I've purchased a domain, server and I know exactly what to do.

I don't want to tho - I have grown attached to MyDL but I do want to feel wanted. I don't feel that.

I'm literally floored by this.

I've created a social network in a basement - back when everyone was doing that. It was a lot like Facebook a few years back - never had more 10k users tho, I couldn't get any VC money bc essentially, I wasn't in the first 100 people to ask for it. I had a much better website than almost everyone else tho.

Anyways, I only mention this bc my entire Team/Company would have lost their minds if this conversation was being had on our website, by our users, about us - I would have lost people had I not fixed this.

I'm embarrassed for these people.

I'm actually thinking that nobody is following this conversation or, several others like it, specifically the thread adding Gaga to the list of services. It is incredibly annoying to see a currently airing show, as if its not airing anywhere. These being queer issues is exactly why nobody is looking at these.

I'm going to hop onto the Discord for the staff later today and have an actual conversation about this.

As far as business goes - I see nothing but an opportunity here to create a profitable, self sustaining website with a dedicated user base. This is very bad business the way this is being handled - if this was just about money, this would already be done.

Oh please do that! The Database is more and more lacking, even for countries which are set here. We definitely need an alternative for MDL 

The interesting thing about this - its actually very easy to rip all of the information off of a website - I have multiple bots for exactly that, but these days AI is far, far more effective at it. Also, IMDB already stole ALL of this information and I get anything from IMDB whenever, so MyDL is not all that relevant for their own data.

I would much rather have the millions of people, from all over the world, that have found queer content made in SE Asia, found MyDL, and thought they found an accepting place - to actually just be welcomed here. 

There are 378 people in the Discord chat for this website. That is not enough to actually be representative of the user base of this website. 

If I never make another comment - it will likely be bc I draw attention to this and they panic and ban me.

Why is there no interest in actually allowing us to add Vietnam content? I see where there were some Vietnamese actors already added to the system but next to none Vietnamese content. Isn't MDL supposed to be about Asian Dramas? Isn't Vietnam considered an Asian country?  
The call for inclusion has been going on since 2018, what more do we the community need to do in order for this push to happen?

The first part is a mystery.

As for the second, actors from other countries may be added if they appear in a drama or film from one of the countries the devs permit.
