This technically isn’t taking people off MDL, but… can we do something about OVER TWO THOUSAND comments spammed in the last 6 months (most of their time here) on masses of popular airing kdramas (multiple times at that, at least on a few pages I noticed)? Commenting with a request to vote in your fave drama of [insert year] then the exact same gibberish for another year on every page of airing and recently completed dramas feels as irritating as people begging people to join their discord channels. I know I can block them, but I can’t be the only one just staying silent to this point. It seems like the kind of thing Mai and her ilk are specially put on this earth to do, no outward wrath, just enlightenment whether you end up feeling comforted about eating a family size container of ice cream or guilty for donating to charity… she works magic, we all know that.
It isn’t kdramas alone-20+ pages back there are vote for your best Chinese drama set in the Song Dynasty, in the Ming and the Qing… Kdramas from the Three Kingdoms period and Joseon and so on, most annoying Cdrama actress, best office drama, the best kdrama from this or that hear ones rinse and recycle from at least 2015 if not earlier onward.., all fine things to exist, but not to throw onto irrelevant pages about 2250-2280 times. (100 pages @20/page… I would say of the other 16.5 pages/330ish comments and climbing, over 250 will be voting list spam… y’all have better ways than my page by page see 20 scroll and move to another page options). There are occasional (sparse but existing) real, legit comments about shows, but after this obsessive spam fest started only 17 comments into their MDL comment history, they’re pretty far and few between.

Totally irrelevant voting list that would never even contain that title spammed just because it is out now… that is not making MDL better but being an attention-grabbing nuisance talking about random unrelated mess like best of 2017 or best historical drama on a modern crime thriller page… (doesn’t help that lists like these already exist elsewhere from users who’ve been active longer). Please edumacate so I don’t turn into a mean kitty cat. 🐱
