Hello! I indirectly have started an unwanted conflict simply because a certain drama recap, got published much earlier on than many others. First of all who edits my articles, please delay them all from now on. To be fair for others.

This is the kind of reply, I received.

@Cryssy Anne Yes, other writers can't change the category of their articles.
What u have done is also a good chess move, because no matter how hard you try to argue, that article of yours was indeed an editorial and not a news article. You by-passed others, and for that, you got minus points. You yourself even answered a comment that questioned the section the article was in. Your response? That you know that others are waiting for their articles to be published, so you didn't wanna be in a queve. Ehm, by creating a shortcut? That was pure evil, okay? You tried to look considerate of us, but anyone can see how evil that move was from miles away.

In terms of publishing dates, you are right, it is MDL who is in charge and not you. It is probably Alice again, as she is the chief of writers. BUT that doesn't take away the fact, that you skipped the line even in this drama recap section. Now, what I would do in your place? Since I do have a backbone, I would contact either Alice, or admin to take down the article. Reason? Others were in front of you.

You know these facts very well, but choose to act innocently, while happily digesting the benefits of having a ''writer'' role. And u know what I don't like other than unfairness? Pretense.

I am simply pointed out that I still write editorials, when I actually wrote recently only drama recaps. I NO longer write editorials for 2 years, as a fact, but maybe I should change the way I edit paragraphs. Please someone reply, I don't need this type of conflict here, steaming like this,

Your article was not edited. It was published without editing. No idea why and by whom but just wanted to make that clear. :)

"I am simply pointed out that I still write editorials, when I actually wrote recently only drama recaps. I NO longer write editorials for 2 years, as a fact, but maybe I should change the way I edit paragraphs.''

Your articles, Short introduction to Motel California and 3 Dramas To Re-Watch If You Miss "Family By Choice" are editorials, not News.

You yourself pointed out the fact that you knowingly put these in News section, since editorials are full and people are waiting. I can find the comment if you want. This means, that you have knowledge that your articles are editorials, but simply want to get the fast-track, since someone is posting your articles + all News articles.

That being said. It is actually  a problem on how I claim subjects and write titles.

So, I will change even that, plus delaying everything, to be everyone in fairness and contented.  That's all I can actually do. Since I can't figure out why even more after addressing the issue, myself,  I just found it was not even edited minutes ago, so please stop. I get your view or opinion. Fully.

I don't think the problem is the subjects or titles here, it's MDL management in general, and in particular the rules and politics regarding writers.

As I wrote for another topic, regarding edits approvals, is there a captain on the boat seriously ?

The support and community tasks sections are full of topics from users and contributors of the website, with a lot of questions, but there is barely any answer from anyone in charge of the different topics. If the problem is a lack of manpower, why not announcing it and why not make a public recruitment ?

Right now, the persons in charge seem totally out of reach, gone or totally ignoring the different situations and problems people keep bringing in the appropriate places. If they don't answer questions from MDL users in the support and community tasks sections, how are we supposed to solve and correct anything here ? The management needs to wake up, and communicate !, because this website really feels like a drifting boat.

Drifting boat, very well said. Thank you! Finally, someone truly sees the root of this issue.

Because no admin is responding to questions and our concerns are going completely ignored, it’s starting to cause internal conflicts.

Maybe that’s what they want, to keep people feuding so they don’t have to respond. so try not to take it out on each other, but remember where the issues are originating from.
