Anime title pages on MDL?

Is there a reason there is suddenly a lot of new pages made for anime shows?

I noticed while browsing new Japanese titles added and there were pages and pages of anime now: 

Just my opinion but it’s not something I particularly want mixing into movies and drama. Especially if it’s going to end up on cast lists too. I hope this will be something that is filterable at least.  This is already such a wonderful and extensive resource for dramas and movies. 

Our plan is to add as much content as possible so we can link to it, but it won’t appear on the main site (dramas/movies).

Yes, I support this. I barely watch anime. I don't want to create a page on MAL. Having a category for anime and listing it on this site does no harm. I want to be able to add the anime I have watched on my watchlist here.
