Points and contribution points

I was wondering what the difference between those points is, and how to obtain them. Is there a guide about it? Any links?"

contribution point is what you earn when you add/edit anything like cast, titles, genre, etc..

idk about points... i don't know why they are here and if there is some way to "earn" them...

Points on the other hand is "testing feature". It has no effect yet as far as I know. Maybe it will in the future, we never know.

Yes it is strange. And the points are random too. Someone will get more/less than others without any mechanism explained. Only admin knows....lol

That is vote. It is not the same with contribution or testing points. Everyone is given with random number of votes they can use on suggestion forum. You can see your number by mouse hovering at the "vote button" on the left of thread titles or on the first post when you open any suggestion thread. Not sure how to do that on app though.

Voting is totally unrelated to contribution and profile point. Please refer image below:

If it says you don't have votes (voting points), it simply means you have used up all your votes. I don't know how to increase this voting points, but you can unvote any suggestion to get them back. If you by default do not have the voting points, then there's nothing we can do about it.

Exactly!!

The image I posted above was a screenshot of my account. You can visit my profile and see those remaining votes I have in that image is totally different than my contribution points and my "testing" points.

That's why I recommend you to mouse hover on the vote button (without clicking it) to display something like in the image. There you can see your remaining votes. If it's zero then most probably you have used it. Or it could be you don't have the votes in the first place. Not sure if it's possible to have 0 votes by default or it is a bug or a restriction for new user.
