Year in Review takes forever to generate

Same here! My report doesn't appear and I've also noticed that my last online isn't working, it says that my last online was 2 days ago but I was online yesterday for almost the whole day. I don't know if the two issues are related.

Tried to generate my year in review yesterday and today, with no luck. Yesterday I stayed with the tab open on the generate page for like 5 hours. It still says I have to wait for the report to generate.

Is it a problem with my watchlist specifically? In the past year, I added some 1900+ titles to my Not Interested list, then in December decided to delete it all. Now I have only watched like 84 titles in 2025. I have made a lot of operations on the watchlist though, thousands.

Does that have anything to do with the fact my report is still generating? Thank you!

Hi, no i have the same issue and i probably watched and added less than 100 titles. Must be an internal problem. We should wait a couple of days until they fix this.

ME TOO! I have tried to generate my report several times now, leaving it open for up to an hour each time and it still says it is generating

another thing I noticed is the latest lists created on the site are frozen since 20 or so hours ago

in the Lists page, scroll down and you see the same lists, they're not updating

All of these repeated attempts to generate the reports is probably putting too much strain on the servers, and devs may well be busy with family or holiday things or just taking some time off.

(Edit: Or not if attempting to 'generate' a report is just leaving a page open.... Is that what you all are doing? I thought it must be an app thing and you were actually doing something besides hoping a page updates. Same rule of thumb still applies. Patience grasshopper, patience =D )

I've noticed feed and other problems, and couldn't access any pages for a spell, and wondered if an uptick in activity was overloading the servers. Didn't think bustle around the 2026 challenges would be enough on its own... but this would.

Good rule of thumb - especially for tech - if it's not working for some reason repeatedly trying isn't likely to fix it. Give it a break, come back again in a day or two.

(Edit: Just looked - my 2025 report was waiting for me and I didn't do anything. Are you sure you need to generate one for yourself?)

Mine just says generating as well, not sure if I'm supposed to leave it on that page long-term or not, but judging by the replies here doesn't seem like that will do any particular good

Is that what you're doing? Just leaving a page open? No wonder I couldn't figure out what everyone was trying to do to generate it. Thought it must be an app thing.
