Hi,

it's  been some time now since the stats on my profile completely changed, the numbers are much bigger and they don't match, for example I have 124 titles with tragedy tag but now it's 141 or 320 titles with tag friendship but now it's 397.

Has the way tags are counted changed or is it a bug?

Thank you in advance for your help!

could be that shows/movies you had already watched ,had "tragedy" tag added.

The Guidelines changed at some point and Tragedy is no longer a genre but a tag. It could be a bit of housekeeping to reflect that.

Also, tags shouldn't be added without evidence so they can be sparse for titles which haven't aired and need to be added to later. If you watch a lot of currently or recently aired titles, the tag numbers are likely to change as their listings are improved.

  • Tragedy: a genre that describes any sort of disaster or misfortune which happens to the main protagonist. Usually, it involves the death of one of the main characters.
    • It is no longer being used and is replaced by the tag. Please don't use it as it is a spoiler.

I believe those titles would show up with filter then, but it doesn't show any changes, so that's probably not it. 😅

Thank you for a suggestion, though...

Someone else was having problems with search recently. I may have too, except I didn't look into it sufficiently, just scratched my head a bit at how few it turned up and tried other means. I personally wouldn't use search to try to prove/disprove something so specific.

Thank you for advice, so far I didn't have problems with that and I'm not excluding it, but I'll just wait until everything's cleared up since there's no point in guessing on my own.
