Text color in caption under poster doesn't change + more

Hi,

I added a caption under the "Not Me" drama poster and want to change the text to white. I highlighted the title but when I select the color in the text box nothing happens. A side note: The highlighted area sometimes isn't visible, depending on the background color.

Am I using the correct color chart? The one in the main tool bar? It's always greyed out and lost it's icon image, I think...

Also, I can't get the "Not Me" poster to line up with the other original posters I already had in place before the updates. It shows the placement above. I think I've tried everything. 🤷🏻‍♀️ When my photo gallery got messed up after updates I had to manually move them out and back into each grid space. I never did get it right so I just deleted the whole thing.

I'm trying to make everything work but tbh the new editor has been really difficult and time consuming. I've deleted a lot of my pfp content cuz I can't get anywhere with it. Or maybe I just don't get any of it now. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Are the new updates more compatible with the Windows system? I'm wondering as I'm on a Mac and maybe I don't understand the commands needed to get everything corrected.
