They have configured the information-editing system with a wrong-attempt limit, which is why this is happening.
It works similarly to entering the wrong password three times , on the fourth attempt, the account gets frozen. In the same way, you can provide wrong information to the MDL’s database only up to a certain limit; once that limit is crossed, it bans further editing.

Most likely, you were rejected too many times for that section. But I cannot be sure.
Did you try to edit the same section for other titles? If yes, and it's the same, then the above applies. If not and you can edit those, then it's a bug for this title.
Did you try editing other sections to see if they are greyed out as well? If yes, then your ratio might be too low, and you need to find a section that works for you to edit and focus on that one to submit correctly until your ratio goes back up, and the other sections should open up again.
