Hi! I want to know if MDL can determine fake/alt accounts that are created solely to upvote/downvote reviews.
This is because I come across suspected reviews where fake/alt accounts are used to upvote their reviews so it can appear on top of the page. I encountered this recently in one of the latest aired drama where the upvotes are gathered instantly. Then when another reviews taken over it a few hours later, then the upvotes started again to make the same reviews on top while downvoting top review towards the bottom of the page. Then after it being on top, then the upvotes also stop. It has stopped for the last 12 hours. That's why I knew the reviewers must have using fake/alt account to make sure their reviews are always on top.
I thought if MDL mods can detect IP address, then you can banned all these fake accounts.
But if there is no way to check IP address and determine fake/alt accounts, then I won't bother reporting the reviews. 😅
