I want to be able to create a table with a single cell and 2 cells below and then 4 cells below that and then alternating 2 and 4 cells. This is for a challenge. However, I can't seem to pick cells to merge or how many rows and columns I want. If I try to create a table, it decides to give me a 3 column, 3 row table as default. I can add or delete columns and rows but it changes for the whole table rather than just for the selected row.
If someone can help guide me on my tablet browser since I can't use a laptop at the moment.

Options it's giving me is toggle header row, toggle header column, toggle header cell (which highlights all rows and columns). I can't just delete B cell to have a single cell row. I can't add 2 more columns for just row E F.
I'm very confused.
