If you look at the currently Top Upcoming Shows, I noticed that it tends to only list Korean or Chinese dramas, while excluding popular upcoming shows from other countries.
It seems to me, there is a large community on MDL that watches and supports Thai productions. Mind you, a lot of these are also Boys Love dramas, so it's possible the exclusion is due to their genre rather than country of origin.
For example, coming out this week (8/29) are two Thai BL productions that already have a # of watchers greater than the top show listed here (Four Hands, Two Sonatas; also premiering on 8/29):
I often use this upcoming list to remind myself of what shows are coming out soon (particularly those that are popular and aren't 'starting this week', so they aren't necessarily included in that listing on the front page). It's just annoying that more popular shows are being excluded, so I have to remember their names in order to search for them and add them to my watch list. It also feels like a weird bias to have on a site that should be representative and inclusive of all Asian dramas.
I am just wondering why this is the case? Why are specific productions excluded from what is considered 'Top Upcoming'?
