a short, chilling, hard-hitting drama that criticizes the harassment, abuse, and lack of accountability that goes on within the military. it's dark, somber, and raises heavy questions about being a bystander to bullying, harassment, and hurt. the first few episodes did a great job of adding in touches of humor, and i really enjoyed the friendship between ho yul and jun ho. definitely a heavy drama and one that just made me feel so sorry and helpless throughout, which i think is the whole point. not for the faint of heart.

give me season three right NOW.

the emotional whiplash i got from the last episode is more severe than some of the necks ji woo broke (complimentary).

i genuinely forgot this was jisoo from blackpink acting and just fully believed this was young ro and that should say everything you need to know.

i'm just going to say what we're all thinking: do ji tae is HOT. i was smiling like an idiot every time he came on screen, like yeah he's in prison. so what? lock me UP.

this is not the drama i would've expected to blow up. and everything that has followed after the virality of this show has shown me that we have 1) lost the plot and 2) that media literacy is at an all-time low.
