Dramas I've finished in 2026
-
1. A Romance of the Little Forest
Chinese Drama - 2022, 35 episodes
This drama was such a disappointment. I came in expecting to watch two pretty nerds slowly falling in love. And in truth, the first 1/3 of the drama we got exactly that until the writer decided she didn't like the leads. So she discarded them and replaced them with the second couple: A country bumpkin and a rich CEO. Their "love story" grated on my nerves. And I didn't care to watch a man pretend to be handicapped to win a girl over.
But the second couple's biggest crime is that they sucked all the screen time away from the leads, and then the writer had the audacity to have them progress in their relationship well before the leads. The second leads had already become official and kissed before the leads even shared a hug. Is that not crazy? And when the leads made huge progress, the writer decided that was enough and separated them. It's even crazier to know the leads don't even become a couple until the last leg of the drama.
This drama would have been amazing if the episodes were cut down to 24 episodes and 90% of the drama focused on the main couple, because Esther and Bin Bin's chemistry was amazing. But 7.5 only because Esther and Bin Bin did the best they could with a crappy script. -
2. Love in the Clouds
Chinese Drama - 2025, 36 episodes
I'll be honest, I wasn't sure what all the fuss was about when it came to this drama. But after binging this for three days straight, I get the hype. This was a 10/10. The romance, chemistry, plot, cinematography...everything was just perfect.
-
3. Shine on Me
Chinese Drama - 2025, 36 episodes
Li Yusen has made the list of my favorite Drama men. The man was perfection from head to toe. This is my second Gu man drama and I love him the same as I did the ML from You are My glory.
-
4. Sniper Butterfly
Chinese Drama - 2025, 30 episodes
I really enjoyed this drama. The FL was mature, gorgeous, and incredibly classy. It's so easy to understand why the ML fell in love with her. She went well and beyond for him and really took her time to get to understand and know him.
This comment from someone that replied to me: I saw an online post saying we fell in love with FL thru ML's eyes. She was a beautiful human being because ML sees her as a beautiful human being.
-
5. A Calm Sea and Beautiful Days with You
Japanese Drama - 2025, 10 episodes
It was fine some may even say cute (not me). The leads had good chemistry but both leads being skittish and acting like kids while married is just ridiculous and I'm kind over it in Jdramas. There's no way you're married for a year and you're still stuck on the kissing stage but talking about the possiblity of having kids?
-
6. Glory
Chinese Drama - 2025, 36 episodes
It started off strong but diminished in quality with every passing episode. It's not a bad drama I just wished it wasn't so family-focused.
-
7. Love O2O
Chinese Drama - 2016, 30 episodes
I can't say I loved this drama, nor can I say I hate it. On one hand, I will admit to never feeling bored, but on the other hand, I didn't like any of the characters aside from the ML and his friends. The FL came off too robotic. There were scenes where her character should have emoted, but her go-to facial expression was always a smile, smirk/shrug, and a faraway look. I watched thirty episodes, and I still have no clue what the FL's personality is. All I know is that she's "pretty" because it's mentioned in literally every single episode and that she kisses like a dead fish. Those kiss scenes were painful to watch.
Er Xi also was the worst. Annoying, gluttinous, loud, and all around terrible friend. I could not stand her character at all. Cao Guang was just as bad not if worse. Hands down one of the worst 2ML's I have ever seen. I could go in on him all day but I'll save my breath. -
8. Love between Lines
Chinese Drama - 2026, 28 episodes
This hands down one of the best couples. Chemistry and Communication were on point. I love every single minute of this drama. And the cinematography and music were perfection. The only reason it's not a perfect 10 is that I have a huge issue with people blaming the child over the sins of their parent.
-
9. The Forbidden Flower
Chinese Drama - 2023, 24 episodes
This drama was a masterpiece from the acting, the chemistry (the amount of intimacy between the leads was so well done, they looked like real lovers), the OST, the beautiful cinematography, and sexy Jerry Yan (hands down one of the sexiest men I have ever seen on my screen). 10 out of 10 the only thing I could have lived without was the mom's storyline.
-
10. Idol I
Korean Drama - 2025, 12 episodes
There is something missing from this drama. The first two episodes were amazing but after that, the drama just fell flat for me. The murder was obvious (I wish it wasn't so obvious) and the romance was just eh. The leads just had no chemistry. The ML he tried but the FL just wasn't giving nothing. Her personality in the first two episodes was amazing and then she just became bland. The romance was really not needed at all.
-
11. When It Rains, It Pours
Japanese Drama - 2025, 7 episodes
Oh this drama was so good. I watched whole thing in a few hours. I wish we had a couple more episodes so we could see the couple actually being a couple.
-
12. Can This Love Be Translated?
Korean Drama - 2026, 12 episodes
I'm not even going to mince words this drama is straight a**. I can't believe I wasted twelve hours of my life that I can never get back.
-
13. Twelve Letters
Chinese Drama - 2025, 12 episodes
Such a beautiful yet heartwrenching drama.
-
14. Affinity
Chinese Drama - 2026, 40 episodes
This drama was all over the place. It was a mess. The only thing consistent about this drama was the FL's ability to be unlikeable from episode 1 to the very last episode and those weird kisses they shared (it looked like he was eating her face).
-
15. To My Shore
Chinese Drama - 2025, 15 episodes
Fan Xiao was so obsessed with You Shu Lang and incredibly toxic, and I loved every single minute of it.
-
16. My Page in the 90s
Chinese Drama - 2026, 24 episodes
I loved this drama. I thought it was super good, the leads had amazing chemistry, and the story was light and fun. I can't say I understand the ending but I get with the censorship the ramifications the screenwriter had to do to give us this ending. I eve
-
17. Spring Fever
Korean Drama - 2026, 12 episodes
This is what I expect to see when I want a rom com. Just cute cheesy fun and romance. The leads realationship was everything I just couldn't stand the nephew and that girls storyline they weren't likeable to have that much screentime in my opinion.
-
18. Crush
Chinese Drama - 2021, 24 episodes
This was a good drama. I'm not mad at the ML being all clingy and overprotective when it comes to his lady. I wasn't a fan of the breakup because it wasn't well written but overall a good watch and Evan Lin is so good looking that it was distracting to pay attention to the subs sometimes.
-
19. ClaireBell
Thai Drama - 2025, 8 episodes
I use to watch Wentworth Prison and Orange is the New Black so this caught my attention. I thought it was a really good watch and by far my favorite Thai GL.
-
20. Born to Be Alive
Chinese Drama - 2026, 40 episodes
The first half with Hu Ge was a straight masterpiece. It was gritty and I was on the edge of my seat scared on who die next but boy was it amazing. I do the second half was good as well but it was more mellow but still a good watch and my favorite role of Yang Zi yet.
-
21. Return of the Queen
Chinese Drama - 2025, 24 episodes
Black cat x Golden Retriever energy. This is such an underrated combo, but I was here for it.
-
22. Thundercloud Rainstorm
Korean Drama - 2025, 8 episodes
All I'll say is it had me at the start and then lost me. It's a decent drama but honestly forgetable.
-
23. Call Me by No-Name
Japanese Drama - 2025, 8 episodes
I watched this on a whim without having any idea what it was about but I'm so glad that I did. It was such a good drama.
-
24. How Dare You!?
Chinese Drama - 2026, 32 episodes
I was initally going to rate this a 10/10 because it was so good but then I saw a clip of the ending that they scrapped and I had to take away .5 because the OG ending they scrapped was miles better than what we got (and mind you I didn't mind the ending until I saw the OG version). But anyways super good. I thought it'd a simple comedy historical drama but I found myself going through a range of emotions.
-
25. No Pain No Gain
Chinese Drama - 2026, 26 episodes
The first 2/3 was so funny and then they took away the humor and started to get serious and tha appeal started to go away for me. Still a good drama with an excellent Ost but I wanted comedy for at least 90% of the drama.
-
26. Unveil: Jadewind
Chinese Drama - 2026, 34 episodes
Beautiful gowns...nothing new or expetional. A basic script from two people that deserved better. The romance also was not needed. It was just eh.
-
27. To My Beloved Thief
Korean Drama - 2026, 16 episodes
I found it hard to rate this drama. It wasn't bad nor was it exceptional. I think it served it's purpose and gave us what it entailed so I can't be mad but I do wish the ML had the personality of the 2ML to spice things up. And I do applaud them for making the 2FL so likeable when they could have made her the typical jealous FL.
-
28. Laundry Romance
Korean Drama - 2026, 4 episodes
I didn't ask for much when it came for this drama and it delivered by not giving much so it didn't disappoint nor excite me.
-
29. Revenged Love
Chinese Drama - 2025, 24 episodes
I'll be the first to admit that the first few episodes did not excite me. I was actually going to drop it because it was just eh. I think it wasn't until episode seven where I started to actually really enjoy it.
-
30. The Starry Love
Chinese Drama - 2023, 40 episodes
I had plans to watch this years ago when it came out and I do remember watching the first couple of episodes and stopped when I heard about the ending but I did say I was going to watch it one day and with CXX owning my January and February, I decided to give it another go and boy did it not disappoint. I loved every single thing about this drama. Perfect casting, acting, and romance from both sisters storyline. I even cried a few times.
-
31. My Personal Weatherman
Japanese Drama - 2023, 8 episodes
The only thing this show lacked was communication. My god, can this man not say what they want but overral a good drama.
-
32. Boyfriend on Demand
Korean Drama - 2026, 10 episodes
It's not terrible, but it's not great either. So, even if the script isn't the greatest, if you're in the mood for that nostalgic rom-com feeling, then this suits the theme perfectly.
This is also the first drama I've watched with Jisoo, so I was perplexed by the comments about her acting. I think her acting was fine. The only thing I didn't care for was her character in most of the drama, but that had nothing to do with her as an actress. -
33. Love Story in the 1970s
Chinese Drama - 2026, 29 episodes
What a phenomenal drama. The leads had so many pitfalls and things thrown their way, but they never became vindictive. They kept a positive outlook, and karma hit the people who deserved it.
-
34. Jack o' Frost
Japanese Drama - 2023, 6 episodes
It's been a week and I really don't remember much of this drama other than Honda Kyoya being gorgeous per usual. It's not that remarkable or memorable. I watched My Personal Weatherman before this and still remember the premise. Anyways, I gave it a 7.5 so it must be okay.
-
35. Undercover Miss Hong
Korean Drama - 2026, 16 episodes
A drama made by a woman and you can tell. Every single female character in this drama was strong in their own right. I really enjoyed it. And if there's a second season, I want Miss Hong with sweet Albert.
-
36. Bloodhounds
Korean Drama - 2023, 8 episodes
I liked it better than I thought I would. I do feel like when the FL was gone the last two episodes the drama changed slightly. And the writer and the director did the best they could but still a good drama and I'm looking forward to the second seaosn.
-
37. Seeds of Scarlet Longing
Chinese Drama - 2026, 24 episodes
Not terrible but not great either.
-
38. I Am Nobody: The Showdown Between Yin & Yang
Chinese Drama - 2025, 13 episodes
I did not like it as much as the first season. Maybe I should have read the source material because I was quite surprised to see Feng Bao Bao and Zhang Chu Lan with such little screentime. They were basically support because the entire focus was on Ma Xian Hong and Chen Duo. And don't get me wrong I think the Chen Duo storyline was not bad but also not what I was expecting. There was virtually no humor this season and I was vastly disappointed.
-
39. Spring Burning
Chinese Drama - 2025, 24 episodes
This is good drama to showcase when a good woman comes into your life and changes your entire life for the better. I loved the 80's vibe, the cute child, and the soft romance; albeit the could have done more with the romance but I'll give it a pass. The only thing I didn't like was the grandma storyline. The show could have ended four episodes earlier if they scrapped that mess and it would have been miles better.
-
40. The Earth
Thai Drama - 2026, 8 episodes
It started pretty strong but it took a nosedive as the episodes progressed. It's not bad by any means but with a strong start I just wanted more. The chemistry between the leads was there but the romance part was just lacking.
-
41. My Destiny
Chinese Drama - 2026, 30 episodes
When I tell you I though this was going to be my favorite drama because it started so strong but I three quarters of the way I trully started to hate this.
-
42. One Piece Season 2: Into the Grand Line
Japanese Drama - 2026, 8 episodes
I liked it but there was a lot of moments from Drum Island I wish were added in. Like how the people in that country were basically slaves but overall it was still good. Hopefully the third season will have more than 8 episodes or they can make the episodes 2 hours each.
-
43. Time and Him Are Just Right
Chinese Drama - 2022, 25 episodes
This drama was fine (I'd put it on the same level as Exclusive Fairytail), not extraordinary or great. I liked the main couple's relationship. It felt very natural how they progressed from friends to lovers. I also like the second ML. He had zero chance, but poor guy tried his best. He was written well and didn't annoy me while on screen, like 2ML's at tend to do at times.
The only thing I didn't like, and pretty honestly ruined some of the drama for me, was the second couple. They were that couple that broke up over dumb things and constantly got back together, and when they broke up, they made it uncomfortable for everyone around them. It was so obvious that they shouldn't be together, but the writer kept pushing it. Honestly, what a waste of screentime.
Anyways, this gets a 7/10 from. It has zero rewatch value for me, but again, the leads are cute when they finally get together. -
44. Please, Stop
Chinese Drama - 2026, 6 episodes
This left me really unsatisfied; especially the ending.
-
45. Tide of Love
Korean Drama - 2025, 10 episodes
This drama had zero substance. The storyline is nonexistent, the romance is artificial (when exactly did they fall in love?), and the intimate scenes were straight trash. I swear it would be two lines of dialogue, and then they'd go straight to kissing because there was no more lines. Also the kissing scenes were terrible. Han Jae Hun was straight eating his face (zero passion), and the intimate scenes were equally as bad because what even was that? Han Jae Hun would put a piece of cloth on Kim Hae Jun and really do much of nothing. Quite embarrassing if the writer/ director was going for BDSM.
-
46. Pursuit of Jade
Chinese Drama - 2026, 40 episodes
This drama had the potential to be a masterpiece. The politics was messy and not as fleshed out as it should have been, and I blame the 40-episode cut-off. It would have been better if they had gone the route of Lost You Forever and Flourished Peony and made this a two-part drama. Oh well.
I will give this drama some credit, though, the romance, cinematography, fight scenes (I wish there was more) and acting was well done, so for that reason alone, I'll rate it a 9.5. -
47. Lose My Heart to You
Chinese Drama - 2026, 24 episodes
I watched the whole thing, and I'm still confused at when exactly these two fell in love? Overall very forgettable and lackluster drama. The only upside is that this is the first time I've ever considered Xu Hai Qiao somewhat attractive.
-
48. Live Up to Your Youth
Chinese Drama - 2026, 32 episodes
What a waste of time watching this. Did the screenwriter have a personal issue with Jelly Lin because I swear he was on a mission to make her character miserable? I hated so much how her story arc was written.
-
49. In Your Radiant Season
Korean Drama - 2026, 12 episodes
I love how the sisters and grandma all represented a pecticular season. I do wish the second couple had more time together because I would have loved to see their dating era but overall I think the drama was beautifully written and all the main characters were likeable--the doctor girl can choke and lose her license for all I care, though.
-
50. Dream of Golden Years
Chinese Drama - 2026, 36 episodes
I loved this drama. The business, the romance (from the FL's mom, to her friends, and to the leads themeselves was *chefs kiss*. The ML was a complete green forrest. The way he communicated with the FL was one for the books.
-
51. Siren’s Kiss
Korean Drama - 2026, 12 episodes
I came in expecting to gag, but the real culprit was so obvious, all the females were written terrible (aside from the FL's friend), the romance was lackluster, and as much as I love PMY her acting was so stiff that I truly felt nothing during her crying scenes. I say that all to say that it wasn't terrible but it's not something I'd ever watch again or, quite frankly remember in six months because it didn't leave much of an impact.
-
52. Hold a Court Now
Chinese Drama - 2026, 26 episodes
I liked it for what it was. It wasn't the best law drama I've ever watched but I liked the leads dynamics and I found the FL unhinged in a good way because the ML was stoic. And this had the shortest get together and break up scene I have ever seen. I have never seen anything like that in all my years of watching dramas.
-
53. Love beyond the Grave
Chinese Drama - 2026, 40 episodes
I was debating on wheather to give this an 8.5 or a 9 before finally giving it a 9 because I liked both the endings were given. I think at times the drama lost it's tone and the romance at times but when it hit it hit. Arthur Chen was amazing as the ML and I don't think anyone else could have played that part.
-
54. Veil of Shadows
Chinese Drama - 2026, 29 episodes
-
55. Yumi's Cells
Korean Drama - 2021, 14 episodes
-
56. Glaze of Love
Chinese Drama - 2026, 20 episodes
I wasn't kicking my feet up and smiling when watching this but it wasn't a terrible watch. A solid 7/10. As an introvert myself, I did like how the FL was portrayed, and she was bold when she had to be.
Also I hated the glossy beauty filter they added on -
57. Duang with You
Thai Drama - 2026, 12 episodes
