Shows I Watched: September 2025
-
1. Moonlit Reunion
Chinese Drama - 2025, 38 episodes
status: dropped
episodes: 28/38
- I was just not interested.
- The writing, directing, and acting were flat.
-
2. Footprints of Change
Chinese Drama - 2025, 30 episodes
status: dropped
episode: 22
- The last generation did not interest me.
- I liked the first story the most.
- The second one made me feel kind of uncomfortable, because it was propaganda-heavy.
-
3. Seducing Drake Palma
Filipino Drama - 2025, 16 episodes
status: dropped
episodes: 13/16
- IDK anymore... the characters (like their personality are inconsistent) are non-existent, especially the ML.
- I stuck out for the FL, but she is not making sense anymore.
- What are these two leads fighting for? I don't even think they have a relationship, let alone a deep connection or a moment they shared.
- I feel like they are too dramatic (writing and directing) for the genre, or the story doesn't have the weight for the scenes to be this dramatic.
-
4. La Ong Dao
Thai Drama - 2017, 15 episodes
status: completed
- The drama looks really gloomy, like there is a dark cloud over the sky when they shot this drama.
- The ML has to get a job. Honestly, IDK why the writer thinks he is a suitable romantic lead. Every time he asks for money from the FL or the lawyer uncle, he feels so pathetic. He has too much time on his hands, which is why he keeps stalking and waiting around for the FL.
- The romance, unfortunately, doesn't work for me.
-
5. Tarm Ruk Keun Jai
Thai Drama - 2015, 14 episodes
status: completed
- It is a cute story.
- I think the ML carried the drama; he portrayed the countryside boss well. I really liked his mannerisms and how he balanced the manly side of the character and the sweet and charming side.
- The FL was okay. Her performance in the romantic scenes could be better.
- I wish that the father knew that the FL is his daughter and pretended not to know, because it felt so draggy that he only found out in the last few episodes.
- I did not like the second couple.
-
6. Raeng Pradtanaha
Thai Drama - 2013, 15 episodes
status: completed
- I think the second leads, especially the SML, needed to go to jail. I hated the forgiveness ending.
- I understood the SFL. I don't condone her actions, but I understand them. I wished for Kate and Chinnakorn's reunion (from the Khun Chai Tharakorn) and wished that they would end up together before she turned evil. But it did not happen.
- Kim and Nadech had really good chemistry.
-
7. Neung Nai Suang
Thai Drama - 2005, 17 episodes
status: completed
- I watched the last 3 episodes raw.
- I loved the chemistry. I loved the banter between the leads. They are so pretty together.
- I loved the costumes and scenery.
-
8. My Princess
Korean Drama - 2011, 16 episodes
status: completed
- I watched this because Song Sueng Heon just came back with a new rom com.
- This was so cute. It wasn't overly serious because the premise is not realistic, but it made the conflict between them feel real.
- The visuals were so unbelievable, and they had chemistry. I really loved them together.
- It is a nice watch if you watch it every 3 years.
-
9. Beyond the Bar
Korean Drama - 2025, 12 episodes
status: completed
- I loved the feel of it, or how the drama was shot. The color palette and aesthetic were cold (I guess it was to make the drama visually crisp and sharp), but the people and the stories were warm.
- I really loved the themes of the drama. It discussed love and how people protect it with the law. The show does have its own stance on things; if you don't like how dramas force their moral values on you, it's a warning.
- I liked the acting; as for the FL, she really conveyed the feeling of a rookie lawyer. In how she holds herself and how she speaks.
- You can say that the drama is kind of unrealistic, as the FL gets to play a big part in the major cases, but the ones she has a major role are the ones that were introduced by acquaintances.
- I liked the ML. He comes off as cold at first, but then, you find him being really passionate about the law, and you see him really care, and that he has a soft side to him.
- I really loved their chemistry, the moments they had together. They are now my phone wallpaper, and I have countless edits on this couple.
- This show is really good at misdirecting, making us make wrong assumptions about the character or situations, and for the most part, it was fine. I looked forward to what the actual truth was. But I hated it when they did it for the wife; I did not like it. ( I respect her decisions in life, but that doesn't mean I didn't hate her for it). IT made me misunderstand her as a very selfish person.
-
10. My Treasure
Chinese Drama - 2021, 35 episodes
status: completed (3rd rewatch)
- I watched it because the couple had a similar relationship to the leads in Beyond the Bar.
- I really liked how the FL came into her own self, learning from the people around her.
- The mother can be annoying, but I did not dwell on it.
- I appreciated how they portrayed a powerful woman being put in a vulnerable position.
- I loved how the love between the leads progressed, being there for each other all the time.
-
11. My Troublesome Star
Korean Drama - 2025, 12 episodes
status: completed
- I wish we had gotten to the FL and stepped into the celebrity world faster. Because the first part was draggy, it then got better when we went into the clash with her old enemies.
- I really liked Ji Jin Hee's cameo/ special appearance. I think he is such a good actor, and he does the middle-aged romance well. I really liked Misty, and I have a lover is such a guilty pleasure to watch on YouTube.
- I ultimately watched this for Song Sueng Heon, who is such eye candy; I was reminded of his older drama.
- I loved the Notting Hill ending.
-
12. Queen Mantis
Korean Drama - 2025, 8 episodes
status: completed
- I liked the drama. It wasn't the best of the genre I've watched, but I stuck with it because I liked the cast.
- The style and acting can get a little over the top.
- I think this could've been written tightly and more suspenseful.
-
13. Their Marriage
Japanese Drama - 2025, 9 episodes
status: completed
- I liked how quirky the drama was.
- The actors were great! I love watching veteran actors do their thing.
- The mystery was fairly easy to guess.
-
14. Glass Heart
Japanese Drama - 2025, 10 episodes
status: completed
- I get what they were trying to do with the drama (the vibe that they were going for). It is a beautiful drama; it's shot very nicely.
- I liked the actors.
- The overall story was okay, but some felt very overly dramatic, especially when it involved Suda Masaiki's character.
- I couldn't follow the emotions of the characters in relation to how they feel about music. Maybe it's because I am not musically inclined, I have never liked the piano lessons that I was forced to go to, that I could not relate to this drama.
-
15. Sao Noi
Thai Drama - 2012, 34 episodes
status: completed
- This was okay, I felt like they tried to make this an epic, but eh.
- I wish the FL character had stuck with her character growth, but when she was deceived by the SFL about who the father of her child is, I was very disappointed. She wanted to die when the ML couldn't recognise her and declared his love to the SFL, and then she became a vegetable because of the pregnancy. Girl, you have a career, you have money, you are famous, and you have friends.
- I liked the character development of our ex-singer and stepmother of the ML, but I hated the fact that they put her and her husband back together.
- I hate how there were not enough consequences for the SML. And the SFL got what she deserved.
-
16. Same Day with Someone
Thai Movie - 2025
status: completed
- Toey was exceptional.
- Great was so fine. I like him tan and his hair down like this. I wish he got more romantic lead roles like this.
- It knew what it was; the film didn't take itself that seriously. I wish the reason behind the constant loop was within the two leads, but it wasn't that bad.
- The leads had great chemistry.
-
17. My Sassy Wedding
Thai Drama - 2025, 20 episodes
status: Currently Watching
episodes: 8
- It's James and Bella, so the chemistry is guaranteed.
- I wish the FL had a different hairstyle.
- There are jokes that I wish weren't made, especially the overly sexual ones; it feels very forced.
- I wish the CG had been done better.
- Why is my man Deaw in a weird get-up? I wish he had gotten a normal, not evil role.
-
18. Confidence Queen
Korean Drama - 2025, 12 episodes
status: Currently Watching
episodes: 8
- I was kind of hesitant about getting into the drama because of Park Min Young. For some reason, I feel like she has been the same in the last few dramas I have seen her in, maybe it's overexposure, or that her style and filters used on her are similar.
- Even though Park Ming Young leads this drama, she is the weakest link out of the three.
- James is the highlight of this drama for sure. He brings the most laughs out of me.
- The villains in the episode are scene stealers for sure.
- I watched the Japanese version, and I remember liking it.
-
19. Tempest
Korean Drama - 2025, 9 episodes
status: Currently Watching
episodes: 7
- I just can't get into this drama. I can see the big budget, the showstopping cast, and the effort into making this drama immersive. But it just doesn't work.
- The political aspect was so over the top. I just can't take it seriously or get immersed in the drama's conflicts.
- I think this would have benefited a longer episodes and explored the back stories of the characters better. There was too much going on for just nine episodes.
- I liked that they had Hollywood actors and not just some no-name English-speaking actors.
- I was looking forward to the romance; I was expecting longing and yearning, I was expecting something mature and subtle. But it felt like they emphasized it too much, and I am looking at the screen, wondering what they are doing when there is an impending war.
- The chemistry was underwhelming despite the absolute visuals these two leads are. I was liking the pairing between the dead husband and the FL more.
-
20. Shin's Project
Korean Drama - 2025, 12 episodes
status: Currently Watching
episodes: 6
- If there is one person who embodies charisma, I think it's Han Suk Kyu. He has worked in the industry for a long time, but his presence on screen still feels refreshing.
- I like the younger cast, too. I enjoyed them both in their respective projects, and I feel like they will be the next big thing. Their chemistry is amazing. I like how the romance is blooming in each episode.
- I like all the side characters.
- I am looking forward to this drama.
-
21. A Hundred Memories
Korean Drama - 2025, 12 episodes
status: Currently Watching
episodes: 6
- I did not see the lead's recent dramas (even though they have been popular).
- IDK if Kim Da Mi is saying her lines like that on purpose, but her voice seems very exaggerated.
- I think the weakest link is the ML Heo Nam Jun. He does not look like a high schooler. But it seems like there will be a time jump. I think they cast him for that reason, so hopefully, he will get better.
- It's weird that I still feel conflicted about this drama even though we're halfway through.
-
22. To the Moon
Korean Drama - 2025, 12 episodes
status: Currently Watching
episodes: 4
- I am having fun with this drama.
- I thought Lee Sun Bin and Kim Young Dae's pairing wouldn't work, but they surprised me.
- I think Kim Young dae improves on his stage presence, and I think if he worked on his voice projection on top of his acting skills, he could be bigger.
- I wonder what direction the drama will go. I can't predict.
-
23. Crime Scene Zero
Korean TV Show - 2025, 10 episodes
status: Currently Watching
episodes: 8
- My favorite chow is back!!!!!!
- I loved that they brought most of the old cast back!
- I also love that they featured guests to bring more to the chaotic chemistry.
- I wished I had seen Hong Jin Ho.
- I wish it had more episodes.
- I need future seasons!
