My Favorite BLs/QLs from 2024

I know this show is a surprising 1st place  but this is my perfect fluff show with a lot of details and depth that will definitely be a comfort re-watch.  The penultimate drama is very realistic and beautifully handled. I love the chemistry between all of the couples RealHia, BabeDom, LeeGlaijai and of course our leads MuenfahTeerak. I look forward to future adaptations with the other couples.

I was so sad they didn't  finished the book. But this show is so high on the list because this story really captured me and I think the way it was executed was excellent. The fact that the story isn't finished and some of the teacher side plot is why this show isn't a 10. I need more! PLEASE make a season 2 and finish the story. 

This show is so good. The chemistry is amazing. The story isn't necessarily new but it is very well executed. 

This is more of a queer story than a love story but this is excellently written directed and acted. The reason why this isn't higher is because this show is less re-watchable for me and more straightforward than stories above it. 

This show is higher than I most people would rank it. For me this is a very relaxed show about these characters navigating friendships and relationships. At times ridiculously funny and often comforting. I love this show and will come back to re-watch this again and again.

The only thing holding this show back is it's low budget. The story itself is interesting and unique as well as very deep and thought provoking. I still think about this show and it's deep thoughts on love and life. 

The chemistry is so good the tension internal conflicts are built up to perfection. I know this is a prequel but my only thing is I would like to have seen more of how they are after Unintended Love Story. However this is how you do a good prequel. That perfectly gives the background to where they began in Unintended Love Story. 

This show has such interesting thoughts on class and poverty. The storyline was so good you forget it's a BL. I would liked to have seen more of the side couples tho. I love the realistic ending. Plus, it has a lot of humor as well with the drama. Yin and War are masters of tension and really know how to make limited moments stand out.

This is a fun horror show with an interesting story, strong direction and really good acting. I liked how the mystery unraveled and how the more you learned about characters the more how you felt about them changed. The BL parts of this show were not the center of the story but they affected the story nonetheless.  This drama gave me what I expected of it and more. 

This drama is quiet and intense at the same time. It has a lot of depth and is very thought provoking. 

This is super toxic and interesting. The plot was very unique and I was super intrigued for what was going to happen next. The thing holding this back was that the ending was not a satisfying as I would have liked.  Up until the ending this would have been higher on the list.

I love this cute green flag show. They were super cute and fluffy but had a history before they met that needed to be worked through. In short there was some substance but not enough to place it higher than the ones above it.

This is a more serious version of I Became the Main Lead of a BL. I really enjoyed how they explored BL ships and how the lines between acting and real life can blur. 

This is a silly show with minimal drama. The main leads handle their problems like adults and with proper communication. 

Their chemistry is amazing and the premise of the show is interesting but at times a bit ridiculous. I was here for it though and thoroughly enjoyed this show. 

This is a simple drama that is almost a little too relatable. It has a lot of growth and sweet moments and the struggles portrayed are very realistic. 

This drama is fun. I liked how the drama was the characters overcoming their own issues in their own way. I adore these 2 as a couple and think they work well with each other. They really help each other grow and be better people. The disability aspect was handled well but wasn't too heavy. The side couple is a bit toxic but overall okay. They hinted at a GL side couple and I really wish I could've seen more of them. 

This was an interesting anthology that gets tied together in a really interesting way. I love that these actors get to show their versatility and I love that this shows how different actors can be to their characters but the emotions the actors or the characters feel can affect one another. 

This gives slightly guilty pleasure show for me. I adored this show but recognize there are plot and character issues that hold this show back from being higher. This show explores the struggles  internalized homophobia in very different ways which I found fascinating. 

This is a very cute fluff of a show and very recommendable. It was almost too fluffy for me and had a trope I am not found of be the final conflict. Otherwise this is a super fun and cute drama. I also liked touching on the aspects of wanting to be an idol and dating as an idol. 

This show has a ridiculous and fun energy to it. The premise itself is a bit ridiculous but I love how this show handled the topics it chose to tackle. The four mcs are great and I love their found family. 

I have a soft spot for childhood friends to lovers. And this show executed a very solid portrayal of this trope. Although I still contend this could've better if this show turned the love triangle into a thruple but I get they aren't ready for that. Also, it was hard to buy into the idea that Meen is a high school student. Why didn't they just age them up to college would have worked way better. Anyways I really enjoyed this show and many of the characters here. 

This drama is short and cute. I really liked the characters and the premise while a bit wild was an interesting draw for me. 

This show is a solid representation of how to get a 2nd chance with your 1st love. The plot is a little simple but it is acted and shot well. 

I love this premise faking dating is a favorite and fake dating while being fwb excellent. This show is very funny and a little embarrassing at times. I love the supporting cast. The "villain" is annoying. There was a slight lull in the story towards the later half of the series but luckily it picked back up for me. I overall enjoyed this show. 

This is a super interesting premise and I really like the characters. I think my main issue is that this show is at times very confusing not because of the plot but because of the execution of the plot. I think this is a case where maybe one more re-write of the script would have made this a better show. Regardless it is a solid show that I enjoyed. I especially liked that I had never seen anything like this show before. 

This was interesting show with an interesting premise. A little bit spicy for spicy sake. 

This a simple and sweet story. It is almost too short and doesn't have a lot going on. But it was an enjoyable watch

I remember enjoying this short easy watching drama but I honestly don't remember much about it. 

The characters in this show will draw you in but be warned these characters have been through a lot and this drama does not shy away from it. This is a nice contrast to a lot of the fluffier dramas this year. My two things are I'm not sure I liked the characters and I would love to have seen more of their story. Maybe a season 2?

The Japanese version was better. I love the OST and the straight side couple. 

I really enjoyed this story and the characters. I did not enjoy the way this story was edited. It was very frustrating to still be uncovering what happened to these characters in their past almost until the end of the drama. It would have been much better if we knew found out all that happened within the 1st few episodes and then stayed in the present to see where they would go from there. Essentially I would have preferred if they had done a format similar to Venus in the Sky. Again still really enjoyed the characters and their story just wish the editing and timeline choices were different. 

This is hard because I really disliked one of the plot gimmicks for one of the leads and it made this show harder to watch for me. The side couple's plot was interesting but slightly dissatisfying. The chemistry between both couples was solid. 

This was rough to watch. I adore MilkLove but did not enjoy their characters here. I love many of the side characters though.
