My Favorite BLs/GLs/QLs from 2025

This show is perfect. I love the horror, the romance, the supernatural elements, the cultural elements. There isn't a thing I would change.

This show is so enjoyable to me I can rewatch it endless. The only things I would change are nitpicky nonsense. 

My favorite GL ever I love EmiBonnie and this story. 

Very fun story love the story and the characters. Great exploration of dating in the limelight. 

Super unique show that defeats a lot of the regular tropes of the genre. Buff boxer boy is a complete softy and finds his match in a fiery actually smart twink going through a rough time. 

The kind of dark story only a Japanese BL could pull off. I love the push and pull of the characters, their duties, their emotions and their baggage. 

Great realistic period piece that made me ache. I don't love the character's choices but the choices all made sense and so did the consequences. The dad was forgiven too easily and that's why this isn't a 10. 

Love this re-uniting of a found family with a idol romance. This has some of the most legitimately romantic moments I've ever seen on screen.

Fun, a little tropey and full of surprising depth.

Aesthetics on point. Well written, acted and directed but some these characters annoyed me in nostalgic teenage boys are dumb kind of way. 

3 men compete for love of 1 man in this toxic love rivalry show done so well you will actually hate these toxic men. 

Omegaverse with Enigmas and established lore. Such a fun campy show with solid production and a great cast. Wish we had more of the special chapters though. 

Unique love triangle with interesting characters and great aesthetic. 

Strangers who are artists that understand each other and rekindle passion for art and healing. those strangers become friends who may or may not develop feelings. Slow burn friends to lovers. Very artistic. Pre-warning time jump. 

fwb with some unbalanced dynamics but super fun and sexy. 

Cute fluffy high school boys in love. With a side of teachers in love. 

Friends to lovers with a slight toxic twinge but mostly fluffy. I love the girlies so much in this one.

Well acted lakorn style supernatural fated romance with a redo on life. 

Fluffy special ep that is only this high because I love these characters and loved seeing more of them but not much happens in this special. I do love how they handled the ex gf though.

The classic prince loses his memories and ends up in working class and falling in love with a commoner. Overall enjoyed this. Winny and Satang's chemistry and acting leveled up in this. MondRyu were fun. I just wish they had more time to flush out some of the side stories/ plots. It felt a little rushed at the end.

KristSingto comeback for the win. Enjoyable show just missing some satisfying crescendos of plot points. 

Enjoyable short drama. The high school student and college art student romance age gap bothered me a little but I guess they are both adults. Loved the side couple though.

Exes reunited in the office. Enjoyed watching but it is kinda forgetable. 

Love a lot of the set up and story really disliked some choices at the end that undercut some of my ending enjoyment of the series. 

They need more episodes or to only bite off what they could chew. So much potential that didn't quite succeed with what the intentions were. The production and acting is top notch though.

Imagine your high school bully not recognizing you and asking you out. I love the different perspectives and POVs in this. Interesting and different couple dynamic. 

Really great show. Just not really my cuppa. Still enjoyed some of it though.

Mostly fun got frustrated with the main characters and the ending. Should've gone darker. Love the villains and side characters except the dad.

3 men competing over 1 man's affection. Fun tropey drama. I would've picked a different suitor than main.

3+ supernatural beings shenanigans with 1 human. Very fun and silly. 

Trial dating with all cards on the table. Fun but very short. 

Again so much potential but needed more time to explore it. The ending felt rushed and not very thought out. Still I mostly enjoyed watching. 

Very short tropey low budget story that I really enjoyed. 

Loved the beginning  but the ended conflict resolution did not work for me and felt rushed. 

Cheesy and silly not very good but enjoyable anyway. 

Low budget, rookie actors with decent bones to work with.

Messy. I enjoyed some of it and slogged through the rest. Either needed more story or less episodes. And there was missing logic as to why they continued to switch bodies. I love MaxNat and these characters are great the story needed work. Adore the side couple. 

P*rn without plot. I'm sad cause the plot description sounded interesting

The editing and sound engineering were nearly unbearable.
