GAY shit I watched

Grouping this with S1. It dropped a star rating cause it was just mid and at least S1 gave me butterflies in my stomach for a SPLIT second with the main couple. Honestly IDK why those two other ships aside from Can and Tin were in here. Overall I did like this but felt very samey with other uni BLs. Which IG is fair since this is older. Lowwww rewatch 

The one with the celebrity who moves in with the chef. I've seen this film years ago from when rewatching it and remember liking it a lot more the first time. I think ive been spoiled with many other great BLs cause tbh this movie was kind of whatever for me. Some parts were confusing, probably because of time restrictions. But overall didnt hate watching it. That being said pretty low on rewatch value

OK SO. This isn't as bad as people make it out to seem imo. After being scared for life with Hit Bite Love and Time I have a really low bar for me to actively drag something. HOWEVER. Even though I reallly enjoyed this in the beginning, shit fell flat on its face lmao. Like I actually thought the acting was passable and that the main leads were cute together and Dino was a charming fella. But it felt like they had no idea where to go once the main leads got together and the FINAL episode of the show was just weird ass segments of the side characters with off screen potential love interest. Weird asf and very out of place considering they didn't get their own dedicated scenes before hand.

The one with the homophobic bttm who hates gays and Mr. Fine ass Mew himself.

GU-.... GURL. Was this a STRUGGLE. I watched it in like 4 days? And I do plan on watching the rest of this ship's shows but genuinely how was this popular? It felt like no matter which guy Tharn ended up with it was gonna be a bad ending. Five Nights at Freddy's set up. Overall I didn't hate it but near the end it felt like I was watching lets all gang up on Tharn drama.

The one with the art students and art teacher and deaf boy.

Ok so now that this has been brought back from the dead and I've finished watching it, it was pretty good. Honestly my one gripe is that they never beat the shit out of the father the same way he would beat the shit out of his son but hey thats just me. Overall this was pretty cute with a somewhat bittersweet breakup between the two main leads. At least they end up happy together in the end though

The one where the guy from the side couple in Don't Say No is a newbie actor and falls for his senior. I really don't like shows that are centered around the entertainment industry. So this was never gonna be for me. Objectively speaking though this was pretty good. The romance was good  but the plot kind of fell off. After episode 6 it kind of felt like they were throwing whatever at the wall. Do not rewatch.

the one with the blind girl. Lower rating cause despite it being objectively good the writing kinda gets super corny and annoying in the last episode which killed the show for me sorry.

Shit was mid and boring asf. Another bitch ass timeskip episode in the last min OML when will this tired and unoriginal trope DIE. The beach vibess were cute but Never Let Me Go did it better lol. Do not rewatch. Sucks too cause I like WinnySatang and their acting is good but the characters, plot and plot holes are so annoying. Like bffr wym he got amnesia TWICE. 

The one with the deaf guy and notetaker who make a deal for notes to be taken in exchange for bento boxes. Really cute in the beginning and then kind of fell off. The girl was an interesting element and the edits from said drama are realllly good. But im putting it low on my list cause of the no kiss scene. ION GIVE AF WHAT YALL SAY I WANT AT LEAST ONE GOOD ONE.

Lowwwww rewatch priority but those edits on my phone will be SAT in the favorites folder waiting for me <3

The one with boys in HS being in love. So every other bitch. I dont hate this but dont love it, Ashton is super cute in this but yeah this is overall meh. Felt like a poor man's Gelboys ngl. I did really like the side couple of the teachers though.

The one where the childhood friends meet again and the top moves in with the business man bottom. It was alright tbh, I think I tried reading the manga a while ago because the premise sounded familiar but I don't remember finishing it lol. I'm still waiting on a adaptation of Dream of Cuckoos but I highly doubt that would happen. N E Ways, with that all being said LOW rewatch value

Fou4Mod and Chian are extremely annoying the special. Ok ok in all seriousness this special was kind of a let down. BaabinBua didn't really have that much of a focus and also the plot for it was dumb. Tbf it was just a lil special short so I cant be too mad at it.

The sequel series thats lowk just a glorified special episode of Your Sky. Its fan service and nothing but fan service. And even though I'm not exactly fond of Your Sky, period. Good for those who really enjoyed that series cause now they get three more episodes of it. That being said most likely wont rewatch along with Your Sky.

So good and yet so bad. The one with.... well, Jack and Joke. N E WAYS, this was really good when it tried to be a serious gritty drama and really bad when it tried to be an unserious comedy. ALL of the side characters except Rose and Grandma were annoying and dumb asf and made me drop this shit to a 6. But the drama between Jack and Joke was fucking excellent. I ate that shit up and the BL moments had me wanting more every time. While the ending is a little depressing, with the four horsemen not really getting their justice, it was kind of realistic. Also the fact Save and Hope both just kind of go goody two shoes at the end cause... reasons? IDK, a lot of the character writing was not it. Will not rewatch but def memorable and has its moments

The one where the guy meets a ghost at a Halloween party but also the ghost is his ex. Was KINDA vibing with it in the beginning but quickly got really corny and the plot twist being that the ghost was his ex lover and he just magically forgot about him was bunk tbh

The one where the dumbass twink picks up photography from fine shit before he stops being fine shit. This one isnt as bad as people say it is to be fair. Its def not good, just not as bad as people say it is lol. I absolutely hated the top when they removed his facial hair and cut his hair, deadass looked like every other bitch. Also the maid outfit they had the bottom in during the final ep took me the fuck out lol. 

Same couple from OMG Vampire. Unlike that show this shit has 0 charm and a terrible voice over dub that killed the entire thing for me. Do not rewatch. Even if the main couple is cute asf

Thought we were gonna get a hot threesome couple based off cover image but its just homeboy in a wig LMAO. Anyways this was whatever, MC Chiaki is lowk unlikeable and annoying, and ik he kinddd of realizes hes in the wrong with his views but it felt so forced and it was like the smallest act of kindness shown to him that comepletely changed his views? I also dont really get why Ae started to like Chiaki, either way this waas mid. Do not rewatch. Opening was a banger.

So, this show opened with Dinneaw in some small ass undies with his ass out, and im not gonna sit here and front I went AOOGAH, little did I know this show would be more sexual jokes and lackluster fan service than plot smh. Someone else had a review about this show deserving to go to horny jail and I couldn't think of a better way to describe it. Won't rewatch, the only thing I can say about this is that Poppy was funny HALF of the time and Sangmin at least stood the fuxk up for himself with his parents which is sum that more than half of the characters in BL cant say. Oh also I remember REALLY liking the first ep and 2nd episode onward was a steady downhill decline

Was honestly super boring at first. Only watched it cause of Hearth but the last three episodes actually got super interesting and the characters, despite the smaller than average runtime, felt decently developed and their scenes explaining their changes in lifestyle didn't feel rushed surprisingly. That being said, prolly won't rewatch

For  a special episode, it was alright. Def felt like a cute little send off for the characters but the lack of fan service which I expect from a SPE didn't really do it for me.

The one with the waysian guy who can see ghost and they constantly make speak English. Honestly the story was confusing and really dumb. Even if you shut your brain off stuff just doesn't mesh or bode well. Like the reincarnation bit at the end for what I'm assuming will be a happy ending/second chance/ in another life bit. Not to mention the lesbian ghost all of a sudden being in love with each other no problems. It did have its cute moments, but overall shit was just too dumb. Do not rewatch

A lil corny ngl. The one with the Naga dragon and snake guy. Im gonna be honest, hit so hard in the beginning and the production was INSANE, but the more and more I got into it the more it dragged. Low/Mid rewatch priority. Since I didn't even really like the BL aspects of this. And the actual plot was somewhat messy

the one with the momma pappa couple who are alpha and omega and race car drivers, was so looking forward to this but I dove in blind asf not knowing anything about it and was turned all the way off with the alpha omega BS. I was promised a NASCAR Speed Racer BL and was hit with that mf "Mama" "Papa" shit ;-;. Do not rewatch, dragged hella and ion really care about either of the couples. Even the spicy scenes were kind of meh

The one with the brothers lmao. And the whole Frog Prince fiasco that made no sense. Deadass can't say anything else about this. Mid. Probably won't rewatch unless in the Step-Brothers mood by why when Stay With me and History exists.

The one with the acting class couple and the NPC bttm. Basically Thai Why R U? on speed. Maybe worth a rewatch??? But prolly not.

Best thing about this BL was the side couples and that one scene with dancing with the devil playing. The one with MosBank set at a jewlery company. Dogshit lol. My favorite highlights being, the car crash, the painting scene, the entire special episode, the naga plotline being relevant for a total of 10 minutes, the show.

The one where the mafia boss becomes obsessed with his bottom after a one night stand. After completing this series, which I had dropped 5 episodes in when the show initially came out. I can officially say I have reached aunties at the nail salon levels of soap opera. that being sad, thats pretty much all this BL boils down to, a trashy guilty-pleasure. Mid, not gonna rewatch.

NOW, that being said for the SERIES, I actually red a English version of the original novel but ONLY the Kom and Baiboon part. And I actually really liked it, it was crazy seeing how this was all happening in the story but wasn't present at all within the show. Despite it being toxic for very obvious reasons, I love toxicity and thought that overall Baiboon and Kom were a cute couple. I will be rereading that part of the original novel. (Also the placement and rating only goes for the series not the book)

I watched this thinking it came out BEFORE Love syndrome III not realizing that this actually came out in the horrendous year that was 2024. SO yeah a bit of  a blunder on my part especially considering I only watched it to get a better grasp on Day and Itt's plot for LSII. I've only watched the first ep for that show but in terms of this movie, yeah I didn't really fuck with it. IDK I liked the non-con scene but the steps from that to Day and Itt getting together were deadass non-existent. At least with Night and his top we saw the progression, as quick as it was. N E Ways, hopefully the show is better. Cause this ending on a cliffhanger too is lowk crazy

The one with the blue glowing water and two coinciding worlds. On Par with After Sundown, interesting story but just doesn't have that oomf and is slightly too predictable. Probably won't rewatch.

The ZeeNuNew film about the arranged marriage and dead bitch grandma haunting NuNew. Boring and lazy, nothing interesting.  At least it was pretty and ZeeNuNew -\_0.0_/-  Not gonna rewatch

ts was ass. The one where the MC had glasses and takes them off and essentially gets graped by Sun (The top). A mess, rushed, ass, garbage. Sorry lmao the fact this shit had the AUDACITY to end on a cliffhanger LMAO. Unholy trinity of Time, Hit Bite Love & now this in the list of shitty BLs that end on a cliffhanger PRAYING for more episodes. Also the fact MC gets with Sun after being taken advantage of while drunk and gets back with him after being cheated on? GIRL STAND UP PLEASE. Do not rewatch

AND ANOTHER THING. The MC couldn't act for SHIT. The only actor worth his salt was whoever played Chain, the HS boys had the shittiest kiss scene, omfg this shit was asssss

The one with the BUNK ass subtitles. Very cookie cuter, the boys were cute and adorable and there were a couple comedic parts but overall this show is kind of every other BL in a HS setting. Only binge watched it cause it was so short

The one where every episode is a different premise until its not.

So this was interesting until they revealed the MCs for every episode were actually actors and they just starred in different movies together. I don't tend to really like BLs about Idols or actors ironically, except My Stand-In that shit slaps. So yeah the second half of the show just really fell off for me. Especially with how vague the problems between the main couple were. That being said, the first two episodes were really enjoyable and cute. But I'm not gonna rewatch

The one with the school "Friday College" 

Boring asf, shit drags so bad and is 15 episodes long. The fact bby Earn doesn't even get his little story with his own ship pissed me right off too. Meanwhile were sat for 15 episodes watching Phun and Non bicker and being jealous. 

Boring. Mew is so fine and was deadass the only reason I watched this show. That and because im a BL completionist. Oh well better luck next time IG

This shit ain't for me chief. The one with North and Johan./ How Much is Your Love? adaptation. So I was excited walking into this but that excitement quickly dwelled into boredom. I hated Eater and his man's storyline it was so boring and whenever we did get an episode with North and Johan those two would always come rearing their ugly ass heads and take up half the episode. I usually try to watch everything even if I don't like a show but I deadass started skipping their scenes. N E Ways, I read  a good majority of the North and Johan novel and while I was sat for a good while I quickly kind of realized in retrospect that I didn't like their story either. Like the way Johan fell in love with North just kind of seemed dumb to me, idk I didn't find it cute at all.  Do not rewatch

The one with the angel ghost guy who can grant wishes, but actually cant. So basically the fairies from wixoss. Prob wouldve worked better with different actors and more runtime. The chemistry wasnt there imo and story felt rushed asf

The top was annoying asf though, punking on a whole ass kid who didn't even want to come work at the nature park. Felt immature and nasty. Do not rewatch.

Melodrama at its weakest. thank god it was only 6 episodes long. The one where the bottom is referred to as a cat that waits for its owner all day long and the like 5 year long breakup. Do not rewatch, this was boring as hell. I'm getting tired of BL where the plot is nothing but melodrama. especially when the cinematography is bland and boring.

Leo and Fiat already got a whole other special episode to themselves so why they felt the need to have this one focused so heavily on them again is beyond me. Its not like I even prefer the side couple over the main one, it just felt really scummy and weird how shafted and sidelined the side couple was this entire episode. And then teasing the viewer with "Oh there's a chance they might meet up for real this time. Just kidding!" Honestly I already wasn't the biggest fan of Don't Say No, especially compared to Be Mine Superstar. Anyways never touching this show again goodnight"

But The In-Sun part was predictable and slow. And also I was under the assumption that they ended up happily together in their original show? Guess not. I haven't seen Unintentional Love Story and tbh this movie prequel makes me not want to. I'll give it a shot though and maybe my opinions on this movie will change but this shit felt too cookie cutter and while the acting was good it also felt super fast paced and the relationship progression between the couple was hard for me to really feel like they did get closer because of it. 

The one with the really bad misgendering subtitles and where the bottom has a crush on the top for seven years. The only scene I liked was the water bottle being slammed on the floor scene. Everything else was either dumb or boring. Do not rewatch.

It was lowkey giving Love in the Air with Prapai and Sky but with ZERO chemistry between the main leads.

And unlike Stay With Me, this BL didn't convince me to try and pick up the novel for where the films leave off. Which btw, a helicopter crash? BFFR
