1. Yumi's Cells Season 3
Korean Drama - 2026, 8 episodes
Very cute
Goeun is really vital for this series, I don't think it will work if Yumi is played by other actress
Jaewon looks awkward in some scenes, but overall his acting here seems better compared to other series that I've seen
Who approved 8 episodes???
We need to fight because it's way too short, and the ending feels rushedHonestly could be 9-9.5 if they have 2 more episodes... It's just too rushed for me to get invested in the relationship
Overall it's very enjoyable

2. Filter
Chinese Drama - 2025, 32 episodes
It's so much better than what I expected
The concept / story is not new, but I think the execution makes it feel fresh in a way
The message is much deeper and thought provoking than what I expected
The comedy part is really funny as well
No particular person or aspect stood out to me, everything just kinda works well together
Overall, just a well made drama and I really enjoyed it

3. How Dare You!?
Chinese Drama - 2026, 32 episodes

4. Pursuit of Jade
Chinese Drama - 2026, 40 episodes
Started off decent, then turns into a mess
All the casts never look that good in other series, they really need to thank the director lol
Story wise -- they cut a lot of important scenes and added unnecessary character scenes instead, so ended up losing the main plot. Story is just not good
ML and FL are so wasted here... at some point, they kinda feel like side characters
Battle scenes are weak
I really enjoyed the first 20 something episodes, then I really want to drop it but just decided to power through... not sure if it's enjoyable... but I did like the ML and FL characters, so I'll still give a generous score
Still decent overall, but man what a wasted potential

5. Spirit Fingers
Korean Drama - 2025, 12 episodes
The original webtoon is one of my favourite, so I was really excited for the adaptation.
Unfortunately, even though the drama is decent overall, it failed to capture the charm of the original webtoonI don't really get attached to any of the character in the drama.
I don't know if it's the acting or the direction or the dialogue, but the characters doesn't give me anything... It feels bland.
While in the webtoon, I genuinely adore all the characters and I got attached to them.If you never read the webtoon, you probably would not have the same opinion as me. Or maybe I'm just too critical because I really like the webtoon
Overall good if it's a standalone drama, but it fell short as an adaptation

6. Boyfriend on Demand
Korean Drama - 2026, 10 episodes
Jisoo is not a good actress, but she's not the worst that I've seen.
She definitely can't do scenes that require big or delicate emotion, but she did fine on normal daily scenes.
She was pretty awkward in the beginning, but she did get better at the end.I would say she is not a female lead material. Not to mention the acting, she just doesn't have the charisma for it... If she were to join a project as a supporting character, it might work better for her.
I don't really like the director here because the whole drama honestly looks cheap and the way they shoot the actor / actress just make them look unattractive... Like the casts are actually good looking in real life, but they don't look as good in the drama. That's a huge flaw for a romcom because visual is vital in this genre
None of the characters look attractive to me. It's so weird because I'm usually fine with SIG, but he looks so forgettable here. He doesn't really feel like the ML.
SKJ probably got like the best shot out of everyone, but even he doesn't look that attractive in this drama... and I usually find SKJ attractive. Like how is that even possible? Honestly blew my mind (not in a good way)
In conclusion, this director should stop doing a romcom
Story is honestly not bad, but the execution is poor
