1. Melo Movie
Korean Drama - 2025, 10 episodes
It's so good, had to write a review for it.
- Writer improves so much from OBS, story have better direction and dialogues are pretty.
- CWS continues to play role with similar vibe, but it works. PBY is great as usual.
- I don't think 2nd CP add much to the story, but it's not bad.
- Kim Jaewook steals the spotlight, I wish we get more of his character
- One of the better slice-of-life modern korean drama
-
2. The Trauma Code: Heroes on Call
Korean Drama - 2025, 8 episodes
Love this series and Ju Jihoon is so damn charismatic.
Love seeing doctor Baek Kanghyeok taming one slave after another, hoping for season 2.
- Love all the characters, so many unique and memorable characters
- The medical procedure scenes are fun to watch
- Every moment is fun and there is minimal filler
- I dislike the way they portray anaesthetist, but whatever it's a small complaint
-
3. The First Frost
Chinese Drama - 2025, 32 episodes
- Sang Yan and Wen Yifan have me in a chokehold, I'm just constantly thinking about them. Tbh BJT x ZRN chemistry is not that strong sometime, but it fits. They start with this awkward chemistry that slowly turns into a warm comfortable vibe, so it feels like I'm seeing actual Sang Yan and Wen Yifan.
- Props to BJT for portraying Sang Yan so well. I think BJT strikes a pretty good balance, so Sang Yan looks annoying but endearing at the same time.
- ZRN is also doing a pretty good job. Her version of Wen Yifan feels cuter & softer but still feels like a strong person overall. She really nails the depression look and I can see the progression of her eyes slowly having more life as her life got better, so that was nice.
- Styling is really nice. I never think any of the cast is attractive, but everyone look their best in this series.
- Some plots are badly written like the grandpa plot, some scenes of 2nd CP, the intern guy. They also make Yifan's misfortune worse in this version, which can be a bit too much at times.
- Ep 23 - 28 kinda ruin this drama for me, it's so badly written. They change the main novel plot and butchered both leads character. This is not the Sang Yan and Wen Yifan that I like from the novel, the essence is so different.
- Yifan's growth got diminish (she was not that passive in novel), and Sang Yan is being reduced to a doormat and way too obsessive (he was not so selfless). I wish they tone down on the obsessiveness because it's really creepy when you think about it.
- Overall still like it because I just adore SY and WYF too much, but I wish they adopt it better. Shame shame shame.

4. The Bad Kids
Chinese Drama - 2020, 12 episodes
Well written story accompanied with great acting and production.
I really love the ending. It fits the censorship and also make the show even better.
Spoiler -- the show presented the "fairytale ending" on surface, with the alternate ending hidden. This has been foreshadowed multiple times throughout the show, so it's up to the viewers to decide which ending they want to believe in. I think the hidden ending is the true ending.
Throughout the whole show, I had this unsettling feeling that whatever was shown to me was not the whole truth, and it's basically got confirmed after I've seen the ending. The whole show was actually only showing the perspectives of Chaoyang, as he is the only actual survivor... so the whole show is Chaoyang's version of fairytale. The actual truth is the hidden ending, which gets buried but still remain somewhere in Chaoyang's subconscious.
Definitely will become one of the most memorable dramas that I've watched in recent years.

5. Under the Skin
Chinese Drama - 2022, 20 episodes
I really enjoy watching it. I finish this in like 2-3 days, so it's pretty addicting.
- I love all the drawings
- Shen Yi is kinda OP, but they have some theories to back it up, so it doesn't turn into fantasy
- The vibe reminds me a lot of US crime dramas, so it's very bingeable (I was thinking castle + bones)
- Cases are interesting, I like that it's not so straightforward and they are based on real life issue
-
6. Mysterious Lotus Casebook
Chinese Drama - 2023, 40 episodes
Pretty good, but I expected more given the rave reviews.
- I like Li Lanhua a lot as a character
- The other characters are ok, but not that memorable to me
- Story is not bad, but ending should be clearer. Makes more sense that LLH is dead, why the heck they make it an open ending and so vague lmao
- Overall I enjoy watching it, although some of the episodes does feel repetitive and a chore to get through
-
7. Family Matters
Korean Drama - 2024, 6 episodes
I missed this quirky family already
- Usually not a fan of dark humour, but it works really well here and it's hilarious
- Great acting from all the casts
- Very gory (which I don't mind tbh)
- Only 6 episodes, so the pace is just right
- I want season 2 please
-
8. The Best Thing
Chinese Drama - 2025, 28 episodes
- Visuals and color palette are gorgeous
- Initial episodes are hard to get through for me. Putting aside that there is no professionalism displayed between doctor and patients, ML comes off too pushy in the beginning.
- Getting her number and do a casual reminder for next appointment is fine, but doing it constantly and also giving frequent special treatment outside work hours or workplace are weird. They've barely known each other at that point, so their level of interactions moves fast, but at the same time there is actually not much progression in their relationship status.
- Even after ML know that FL is seeing someone, he's still being very forward, like they hugged and even spend a night together in a lake waiting for sunrise. They behave quite intimately and flirty while keep stating that they are just a good friend so it actively feels like ML want FL to cheat with him... and it irks me.
- FL's character is inconsistent, I thought she's very competent at work, but when she have a personal misunderstanding, she just straight up behaving rudely during work lmao. She can just talk like an adult? Makes me scratch my head at previous scenes where they establish her professionalism.
- They already change so many things from the novel anyway, I don't get why they can't just wrote the earlier part better
- Eventually I can look past all of it because Zhang Linghe is attractive and He Suye is also an attractive character.
- After the initial episodes, they actually looks cute together.
- Overall it's not bad, I'll give it an 8 because I can see myself rewatching it in future if I want some fluff.

9. Love Scout
Korean Drama - 2025, 12 episodes
- Not bad, I like the 4 lead characters
- Writer need to come up with better storyline and villains
- Major conflicts are unnecessary and forced
- Extra point because I can finally see Lee Junhyuk in romance drama
- Quite disappointing because I love the beginning but the 2nd half is hard to get through
-
10. Love Me, Love My Voice
Chinese Drama - 2023, 33 episodes
It's bland, it's the type of series that you watch to pass time
- OSTs are amazing
- I love TJC's voice
- Mo Ching Qeng is way too perfect till the point that it's kinda scary lol
- I like side characters more, especially Mu Mu
- I enjoy the visuals
