Started watching it as a throwaway drama, but Lin Yi really shines!! Did not expect to get pulled in by him so quickly. 

 I enjoyed this so much that I read the novel it was based off for even more content! I thought the main couple had incredible chemistry, and their love felt very real. Their heartache broke my heart and their joy made me tingly and floaty!! I can see myself rewatching this often! Lin Yi really nailed the role of ice melting prince, and Esther Yu was adorable as ever!

10000000% fluff. The ML shows his affection with just a squint of his eye, and a soft smile. He had us all wrapped around his little finger and he pursued the girl he loves! I loved the TCM aspect of it, too. It's very comforting, sweet and soft.

This is exactly the kind of content I want!!!! This reminds me of comfort Shoujo manga, the sweetest of love stories with no real hardships. They are so in love and want to be together forever!!!

High School Romance x Friends to Lovers

ABSOLUTELY loved it! It was funny, charming, heart breaking and romantic!! The plot got a little frustrating somewhere near the middle but I still completely adored it.

Age gap who? Sweet, sexy, and tender. Lusi shines in this drama and she still gets to be chased even though she fell first and fell hard.

Age Gap, Friends to Lovers

I like the modern x historical twist. Ze Yuan is proving to be a joy to watch! I did not expect to end up liking this as much as I did!! The first half felt a little difficult to get through but I was laughing and crying by the end of the show! I don't even know if I would recommend it exactly as I good drama, but I love it a lot.

Enemies to Lovers, Time Travel, Book Publishing

Watched this for the ML and saw it was only six episodes, so me any my bestie decided to LOCK IN! We sobbed, we screamed, our hearts were lifted. We received EMOTIONAL DAMAGE but enjoyed the ride! Both characters are very lovable, and watching their youthful love blossom and end is heartbreak was devastating! 

I REALLY loved the chemistry between the leads and how they continued to be so into each other after getting together. I was really rooting for them!! The ending really scrambled all of my feelings for the drama, but I still quite enjoyed it.

Student x Tutor, Transmigration

Lusi is incredibly charming in this series, she is the stand out role! She's endearing, smart, funny and a joy to watch. The ML is fine - nothing to write home about, but I liked that they established kinship very early on!

CEO x Artist Girl, They Were Roommates

I did enjoy this series which was mostly driven by my affection for Chen Zhe Yuan.  He felt very young in this (which is probably the point) and their deep bond and affection felt real. Their college years went a big off the rails for me - him pushing her away.... The FL won me over too! She was really gorgeous. I was also a fan of the SML! He seemed genuine and kind. I was a little sad over him!

HS Romance x HS Crush x Smart Boy/Tenacious Girl, Friends to Lovers

On air and currently watching! I loved this CP in the Princess Royal!

Update: On episode 22 and this show had a lot of potential with not enough follow through. Both leads are incredible actors and watching ZLH might be a kink of mine??? But there is too much heartache and not enough fluff for my preference.

I really liked the beginning arc while they were in high school. The college years are more tender, but I'm not sure if the chemistry is there??

Watched because of Lin Yi - he, of course, did not disappoint!! The story was entertaining enough, but something was missing that I can't quite put my finger on. Maybe chemistry between the leads? Tension? I'm a little unclear why the ML liked the FL so much...

Watching this for Lin Yi and he is perfect, as expected!!

Very slow start but Yang Yang proves he knows how to kiss a girl. Arguably WAY too long, but it felt like a sort of love letter to the communist party at parts. The love story took a backseat to a lot of firefighting in the front and back portions.

Firefighter x ER Surgeon, Rekindled Love

Rating because of nostalgia, but not sure it holds up over time. Mars is a manga that is close to my heart, and so is this drama. The OST kicks ass HARD. The drama holds the pain and anguish of the manga as well as the deep feelings of love. It still gets me even after all this time.

Bad Boy Biker x Sad Artist Girl

I enjoyed the main couple - I have watched Love Game in Eastern Fantasy, and after watching Love You Seven Times I was much more intrigued by Ryan. I don't think their physical chemistry was that good? Most of their kisses were awkward to me. I didn't have the desire to go back and watch specific scenes - which is how I know I love something!

Forgettable, but still sweet. I liked the secondary romance a lot with the EMT girl and the reporter. 

Architect x Chef, Childhood Friends to Lovers, Skinship

The secondary couple was maddening, but the chemistry between the main couple was worth it. Discovered Binbin and its luscious lips in this. He honestly looks so good, it should be a crime. This gets a lower score because the secondary love story was AWFUL and it took up WAY too much screen time. I fast forwarded through most of it.

Botanist x Fashion Blogger, Fake Dating

Watched for the main couple Li Xian and Yang Zi and was not disappointed. Their chemistry is undeniable! She falls for him at first sight, and he falls for her steadily over time, but it's a wonderful watch to see their hearts meet. The plot was whatever!

E-Sport Coach x Student?, Fake Dating

Forgettable, but cute! The 2nd couple was a surprise, and a joy to watch! I wish the ML's "makeover" had been more satisfying! He just pushed back his hair and took off his glasses, and no one noticed he was super hot before that?

Fake Marriage, Driven FL

I was intrigued but after the CP got together their romance didn't make much sense to me?? Not sure I'll finish it. I did enjoy the ML in his other project, and thought he stole the screen in this!

High School Sweeties, Hometown Reconnection, Alcoholism 

This started off strong, filled with longing and heartbreak, but fell apart half way through. I don’t like how the FL reacted to him in the second story arch, it really took me out of the story. Lin Yi was wonderful as always but this felt very long and tedious.

Read the manwha and even though I didnt love the twink in this I did enjoy the show overall!!

Basketball Player x Olympic Gymnast, BL

Suuuuuch a toxic mess but BOY did I enjoy the ride!!! Really fell in love with all four leads, and the chemistry and friendship!

Enemies to Lovers, Fake Dating (??), BL

Li Xian is irresistible as we watch his heart melt. This was a very painful, grief stricken watch so I have put it on hold. Not sure if I'll be able to finish it!

Fashion Designer x CEO, Friends to Lovers

Watched this for Dylan, but its very clear that either one or both of them were miscast for this. They both are incredibly talented, but they do not fit the characters they are trying to portray. Dylan's icy CEO character did not fit with Bai Lu's confident, self assured but sheltered character. Their actual ages I think were an issue in casting, it's obvious that Bai Lu is older, and it could have done with an older more sophisticated ML. 

That's not even going into the odd editing choices, odd styling choices, odd directorial choices for this. 

CEO x Reporter, Fake Dating Sort of

Not really sure what to say about this one,  and I am not entirely sure why I watched it or even why I finished it other than the need for completion.  Some of the scenes were very spicy, and I liked that. The ML had nice chemistry, but the story itself was very weak.  Plot was pretty weird but loved the steamy kisses! The confession of the ML was very sweet.
