Reversal of the 'she fell first, he fell harder' trope, with also the addition of 'she fell first and she fell harder' because I love girl-losers so dang much!
I've also seen the "A fell first, B fell harder" trope described as character A falling in love gradually and gracefully and character B plummeting into love like a bird falling from a nest, and I think that just adds a lot to the girlloser aesthetic, and I love it.
