I had my doubts at first : the story didn’t quite match the strength of the acting and cinematography. But that ending changed everything. Now, I’m fully on board for Part Two of Made in Korea.

Yonder is a thought-provoking but unsettling mini-series set in 2032. It explores a service that creates a digital afterlife from only your happy memories, allowing reunions with the departed.

While it's a compelling look at grief, the concept made me uncomfortable. The idea of a perfect, static world of memories feels more like torment than peace. Its strength is in questioning this: are fragile, real memories more precious than perfect, artificial ones?

Visually stunning and well-paced, it’s a quick, philosophically heavy binge that stays with you.
