Do I even have to explain why this is bad? Even if they were trying to remake a problematic plot like that, they could have tried to make it fun or better like the Taiwanese and Thai remakes. But no, they worsened it here. Till the very end, the ML looks like he'd rather jump off a building than go anywhere near the FL. Even as they marry, even after marriage. Compare this to the Taiwanese version where the ML is visibly in love with the FL as they marry.

The male lead was a horrible actor, no emotions at all. The FL got into an accident, and he saw that and stood there like it was none of his business. No worry nothing. This is the ML you will be watching if you choose this remake, and this was the garbage you loved back in the days. Thankfully, I had a brain back in the days and was repulsed by such romantic content since the start.

If you really want to see what the hype was about, I'd say watch the Japanese, Taiwanese or the Thai remakes. This one is the worst of all remakes, and anyone who tells you otherwise is either a koreaboo or is lying so that you can suffer just like they did

The only thing good about this show was not even a part of this show, that is the promo with 'Bombastic' song.

Okay, WHAT THE F? This show is so clearly and evidently sexist that I cannot believe women even gave this a chance and were not repulsed by the 1st episode:

FL attends the funeral of her senior who had dedicated her life to her career and chose not to get married and in the funeral 1 of her colleague; younger than her; arrives with a baby and the conversation shift to how she had married a year ago and has given birt this soon, people congratulating her and that colleague asking FL if she will be married soon or not and feels sorry that she broke up with her bf because he was apparently perfect. Then they continue to talk about how the dead senior should have gotten married as she doesn't have many loved ones besides her on her funeral. All this conversation saddens the FL as she goes outside to cry about her lack of love life. Also off putting was when after knowing that the colleague has a baby now, she feels belittled and feels kind of jealous and also questions herself 'what have I been doing all this time, she has achieved so much and then look at me.' Why? Why should a woman feel sad for choosing work over love life? What is it with society that is so obsessed with people (women in general) getting married at the right time? And I know that this drama doesn't address these issues, it is not a journey of FL towards realising her own worth. No, it is a mindless rom-com where all of a sudden she gets multiple suitors. I don't know about this anymore. I'd rather watch the underrated 'society obsessed with love' web drama that is much more need to be seen than these kinds of narratives.
