A Dark but Beautiful Revenge Romance

“My Lethal Man” is an intense show. Intense emotion, intense mysteries, intense chemistry. The acting is phenomenal, and the writing keeps you hooked and guessing. Our two leads absolutely astounded me, both as actors and as characters.

It’s a melodrama; so expect some of those crazy twists. But, surprisingly, it doesn’t fall prey to the ridiculousness of many C-Dramas. And, it despite the angst, the writers deliver an excellent ending with our characters having developed so beautifully and finally finding healing.

A story on fighting for your dream

This gave me a very bad first impression that I almost dropped it.  This drama will not be winning any awards for great storytelling but it is filled with great characters that are very endearing. The romance is cute but I think my favorite part of this drama was seeing the friendships and interactions. Although some of the character motivations do not make any sense.With all that said, I enjoyed watching this show. It was very cute. There wasn't much to it.

More than the romance, the journey of team solo as they fight for country pride either as individuals or as a group was the main essence of this show.

A Bittersweet Journey of Growing Up!

It's  funny and really interesting. I also love the fact that it's realistic and shows that in life things may not always turn out the way we want but we have to make it work.
I also love that it's not a typical love triangle drama where two boys fight for one girl. It's much more than that and it's really good.

"Everyone is running towards each other without realizing someone's running behind them too." A comment I found in YT that I would commend because it is exactly how the drama was, which explains or explained why the title is a river runs through it.

Addictive drama with flaws

Although it was very addictive all the way through and carried itself well, there were many frustrating moments with phone interruptions, lack of communication and misunderstandings which were not too bad but these were used as weak plot points repeatedly and made the show longer than necessary. The acting was very well done and there are some lovely romance scenes as well which were very enjoyable. I love the female lead and her other works, she is really great.Loved the second and third couple more than the main couple

Entertaining, Interesting  and Messy

The story is interesting but messy. What really drove this show was character development. Of the 6 main characters, most of them ended up completely different than they started the show.This show really finds it's form in the middle, when each of these characters grow up and start to find themselves.

Comedy and bit of romance 

Just what is needed to relax and laugh at the antics of the "superstar" actor YouXi (Kele Sun) and the "assistant" Yuchi YaoYao (Hanna/Lu YangYang) he roped in. It often feels like parody, clichés and tropes are gleefully taken on by the actors.There is a complicated word (enoclophobia) for the mental discomfort suffered by the FL character.
