Love Beyond First Impressions 

The chemistry between the leads is natural, and the age-gap romance is handled in a mature, healthy way nothing feels forced. Their connection grows steadily, from initial misunderstandings to deeper emotional intimacy, making their romance believable and engaging. The acting is superb: the female lead, though new to me, delivers a nuanced performance, while the male lead’s expressions and emotional depth elevate every scene.

This drama is a fun time. The female lead is hired for a contract marriage until the male lead can find the girl who saved him years ago. It's the mistaken identity trope not in that he falls for someone else or anything like that, rather she has amnesia and he falls for the same person he has always loved twice . There are a few scenes where the male lead could have found out early on that it was her due to outfit choices and positioning, but ya know plot and everything . He treats her well and both her inlaws and her adoptive parents treat her well for the most part. She is hilarious.

I enjoyed watching this  Both ML and FL are adorable. It's a great time to watched it. The brother and sister together was so good.. He make sure that his sister will not suffer. So he pursued the ML to stayed with him.  The 2 assistants are best suited for ML conscience thanks for this nice one.

I loved how the story truly focuses on the development of their relationship. The ML did a great job portraying a possessive yet deeply doting CEO who is completely devoted to the FL. The way he looks at her is so dreamy. There’s plenty of couple time, they get together fairly early, and while he is already head over heels, she slowly falls for him. Together, they face every challenge and enemy as a united front. This kind of “CP vs the world” story is exactly my weakness.

This drama was surprisingly engaging. The ML is very dominant and straightforward about his feelings, and if the FL hadn’t been as strong and confident as she is, his behavior could have come off as intimidating or even villain-like. Instead, the FL holds her ground, gives him the space to pursue her, and once she starts liking him, she reciprocates with the same intensity. Both leads are smart, strong, and emotionally mature, which creates a fantastic and balanced dynamic between them.

There’s just something about them as a couple that works so well. Not only is their chemistry amazing, it’s undeniably hot. And I have to say the FL is absolutely stunning.

Best of all, there’s no green tea drama, no unnecessary misunderstandings, and no breakups once they get together. It’s also my first time watching this FL, and she completely won me over. Their pairing is powerful, attractive, and incredibly satisfying to watch.

A very sweet drama. The ML has loved FL for years and marries her after she discovers bf was only dating her for a bet. Due to her ex-bf the FL does suffer from a lack of confidence when it comes to love which would explain her hesitation in believing the ML could love her, however, thankfully, she has some wonderful female friends who help her sort out the truth. The ML is also very honest in declaring she’s the one he likes. The ML is a powerful CEO who has no qualms about letting his wife see his gentle side and showing off his affection in public.

Short and fun, but it mainly works thanks to the charisma and talent of its main duo. She doesn’t tolerate mistreatment, and she fights back. She’s definitely not a timid, innocent lamb—after all, she’s already seen the upper class’s clumsy little tools. It was truly refreshing to see such a mentally strong and smart woman. She could give lessons to all the ladies in the rest of the Vertical dramas.Our male lead plays a double role: at first he’s the ruthless , cold and impotent man, and then he becomes the gentle, flirty, sheet-acrobat type.
He was great at both. And sexy.

I’ve never rooted for a scheming gaslighter so hard in my life.I feel sorry for the sister  being stressed by his lovestruck younger brother poor sister still had to help her brother pursue her best friend after all the stress she had been through.

The concept of the uncle openly hiding his affair in plain sight is interesting, especially how he speaks frankly about his relationship with an engaged woman. However, the dynamic between the uncle, nephew, and the FL often feels uncomfortable, leaving the FL seemingly trapped between the two.
The story itself is difficult to fully accept. Despite the implication that the leads have been involved for a long time, the FL is still portrayed as overly reserved, which creates a disconnect in characterization. This inconsistency makes parts of the narrative less convincing.
While Li Si Jie’s performance helps keep the drama watchable, the overall writing struggles with excessive conflict. The repeated bullying and harassment feel overused and detract from the story rather than adding meaningful tension.
It’s possible some elements are rooted in cultural context, but from a storytelling perspective, the imbalance between sympathetic and antagonistic characters feels exaggerated, making it harder to stay emotionally invested.

The leads have good chemistry, which carries this otherwise clichéd vertical drama. The storyline is predictable, but still enjoyable in parts. The children were especially adorable and smart, and the FL is very charming. Overall, it was an okay watch, though the hidden-identity trope was stretched longer than necessary. While the kisses were well done, they lacked some steam considering the leads are married.

One of the funniest aspects was the assistants having to pretend to be the bosses to protect their real identities watching the subordinates suffer because of this never gets old. The plot does raise some amusingly confusing questions about how the children eventually figure out who their biological father is, especially when even the adults are unaware for so long.

The entire cast performed well, with the kids and assistants standing out for their comedic timing. Compared to similar flash-marriage and secret-identity dramas, this version had a slight twist I appreciated: when the real mother learned the truth, she showed guilt and conscience instead of continuing the usual mistreatment trope. That emotional nuance made it feel a bit more refreshing than expected.

Overall, a light, funny watch with sweet moments, cute kids, and familiar tropes done decently well.

The ML is truly top-tier—not only is he a great husband, but he also comes from a wonderful family. What I loved most is how quickly and honestly he communicates with the FL. Nothing is hidden, no unnecessary misunderstandings, and no third party can come between them. This kind of healthy, communicative relationship is so refreshing, especially compared to overly angsty dramas.

The understanding between the ML and FL is exceptional, and their bond feels strong and secure. The FL is also surrounded by amazing people—her female friends are supportive, fun, and genuinely lovable. Her assistant, in particular, stands out; the playful, flirty energy between them is adorable.

The ML and FL’s assistant duo is absolute comedy gold. Their constant bickering and the way they get on each other’s nerves is hilarious and iconic. The office staff gossip scenes add another layer of humor and make the workplace feel lively and real.

The FL’s best friend completely steals the spotlight whenever she appears. From her airport entrance to her drinking scenes and video call pep talks, she brings so much fun and energy. The drama overall feels light, joyful, and effortlessly entertaining—you can tell the cast and crew genuinely enjoyed making it, and that joy translates beautifully on screen.

This is exactly the kind of short drama that leaves you smiling and wishing for more.

Li Ke Yi delivers a captivating performance, bringing a refined, confident allure that breaks away from her usual damsel-in-distress roles. The styling further elevates her character—her outfits and makeup are among the best seen in a vertical drama, perfectly complementing her delicate features while emphasizing her bold aura.
The romance unfolds with palpable tension and chemistry. The intimate moments are intense, though the dreamy visual treatment of the first scene slightly softens its impact. 

The ML is refreshingly respectful and supportive, instantly drawn to the FL yet allowing her autonomy. Lu Shan Dong shines in a role far removed from his typical morally gray characters. Among the supporting cast, the ML’s grandmother leaves a particularly strong impression.
Overall, this drama succeeds through strong performances, striking aesthetics, and engaging chemistry, making it an unexpectedly compelling watch.

I enjoyed both parts of this drama, though I slightly prefer Part 2 for its stronger romance and career-focused FL. The first part had a whimsical, almost magical vibe, but its ending felt a bit abrupt. The plot follows a familiar reborn-ancestor trope, yet the slow-burn romance across two seasons was engaging and well-paced. The leads surprised me with their strong chemistry and solid performances, especially in Part 2, where the emotional conflict and breakup felt justified and meaningful. I loved how supportive, patient, and emotionally secure the ML was, never threatened by the FL’s ambition. The romance was healthy, affectionate, and satisfying, with good intimate moments and a lovely proposal. Styling and production were decent, with great outfits for both leads, and the supporting cast—especially the friends and grandmother—added charm. Overall, it’s a well-executed drama with heart, earning a strong watch from me.

This version feels more mature compared to the others. The FL is confident and capable, able to handle difficult or awkward situations without coming across as timid or naive, which sets her apart from previous adaptations. Her background is also notably improved—unlike other versions where she comes from a troubled or poor family, here she has supportive parents and a brother who share a healthy relationship with her. Her father being a professor and the family’s comfortable financial status adds more balance to the story. These changes to the plot work well overall and give the narrative a fresher feel. That said, I still personally prefer Charon’s version.
