My DROPPED List (so far)

Well, I tried. I REALLY did. (Enough said)

Here's a chronological* list of shows I tried to watch as much as possible of (but failed miserably) and HAD to drop for my own sanity, since starting watching Asian dramas and movies in September '22.
*From earliest (top) to most recent ones (below).

It can be hard for me to drop a drama. Probably because, at this "Newbie stage" of my journey into Dramaland, I still want to watch as much as possible. And that's one of the reasons this DROPPED List is so short. I clerly suffer from FOMO but, no worries, I'm working on it. Slowly. ;-)

Before I decide to finally drop a show, it's USUALLY after watching at least the first 4-5 episodes (of a Kdrama or 8-10 episodes of a Cdrama). I like to give it a fair chance.

I doubt I'll ever give these titles another chance in the future. It's not that I don't want to but time is of the essence here, guys ! ;-))

IMPORTANT: As a matter of principle, I don't officially* rate shows I haven’t watched at least two-thirds of (their episodes). And those I DID rated were done very generously.

1. You're Beautiful

Korean Drama - 2009, 16 episodes

Dropped on episode 2.
I found this show has aged so badly. I probably would have quite enjoyed that show while it aired in 2009 but it's impossible for me to watch it nowadays (2022).
PS: as a matter of principle, I do not rate shows that I have not seen at least two-thirds of their episodes.
2. My Girlfriend Is a Gumiho

Korean Drama - 2010, 16 episodes

I dropped this show so fast (I couldn't even get to the end of episode 1), I still can believe it ! This looked so ridiculous.

3. Bad Guys: City of Evil

Korean Drama - 2017, 16 episodes

That overdose of fights was too much for me ! This series seemed to be a non-stop succession of men brawling in every somber place possible.
The acting -when they weren't busy fighting- wasn't bad but I couldn't go past episode 8 (of 16). I think I should have watched the original "Bad Guys" (2014) instead.
