The female lead, however, fails to move me — her character’s traits and the portrayal itself feel grating, though that’s a matter of personal taste. The story struggles with moral inconsistencies that clash with my convictions. Yet, the first half of the series remains gripping, even if the second half loses some of its momentum. Despite these flaws, the chemistry between the leads is undeniable, and lovers of romantic scenes will find much to enjoy
