Editing and sound mixing were slightly iffy, there were a bit too many coincidences and tripping into each other’s arms, and who learns sign language THAT fast, but fuck me if they weren’t cute af and nailed the emotional scenes. Lowkey I’m upset I’ll never have what they have.

Gave me cute aggression.

I have a thing for wannabe tough/feisty guys who end up crying in front of their one-sided enemy and future lover. (I know, specific, but this isn’t the only one!)

Hated it the first watch, now loving it. Docking one point for the last episode (S K I P   I T) and another point for the second couple.

Non-existent plot but I projectile-vomit glitter every time I rewatch. Both first and second couples are flawless.

Wonky in places but you can tell everyone gave it their all, including the costume and set teams.

It’s ok if your disbelief is firmly suspended.

Typical second wave Taiwanese BL, AKA lots of tropes, uninspired cinematography, mediocre acting, handsome leads, and top notch kissing.

I don't think they could have done better than this given how weird the premise is.

Director: how many tropes can we fit in this series?

Team of writers: yes.

Lots of eye candy, very little plot.

I still think this was a social experiment.

Uninspired, but the actors are good-looking.

Bored me to tears. Two gorgeous grown men acting a bad high school BL level script.

Takes itself too seriously. Too heavy-handed with the drama given the stakes. Entire conflict rests on a stupid, cliché misunderstanding.

Reused so many old tropes but not the good ones.

Who falls in love 7 days after their lover died???
