My Short CDrama Ranking Watchlist

I recently got obsessed with short cdramas. The upside is: 

- endless variety of choice.

- short term commitment to the story (most are only 1-5 hours long) if it’s bad you can get over it in one afternoon.

- variety of actors. I have so many new favorites! 

- variety of adaptations. you see, if you like a story chances are you can watch it over and over again with different actors, it’s the next best thing to finishing a movie or a book and wishing you could go back in time to rewatch it again for the first time, we don’t get that with regular 40 episode dramas.

NB. Opps did I say go back in time? Yeah these short dramas are full of REBORN, CEO, BAI YUE GUANG (AKA White Flower First Love aka she who can do no wrong), UNCLE, DRUGGED, ONE NIGHT STAND, EVIL 2FL or 2ML, AMNESIA, NPC or SYSTEM, BIRTHMARK, STOLEN IDENTITY, MALE MODEL, SPECIAL JADE NECKLACE. Did I miss anything? If these words give you a headache run fast from any short drama you see hahaha

- fast production. It’s really hard to get bored in the short drama world. There’s a new script and multiple new dramas dropping everyday.

Of course the downside is :

- literal crazy plots, if you don’t have a sense of humor or “drama morality” you are going to get offended quick!

-Shifty morals, deranged stories, it’s like a free for all festival. Sometimes I wonder how some content get allowed at all

- bad scripts and terrible acting. There’s a lot of that. Don’t come looking for award worthy productions
