  • After School Doctor

    1. After School Doctor

    Japanese Drama - 2024, 10 episodes

    9.5

Apart from moving me on a very personal level, this was just high-quality. The amazing acting, the red string, the message, all the tiny details that make it worth rewatching. Definitely my safe space.

  • Alice-san Chi no Iroribata

    2. Alice-san Chi no Iroribata

    Japanese Drama - 2025, 10 episodes

    8.5

The special episode had everything I loved about this drama.
Delicious food in the form of mochi, craftmanship by watching them make the mochi themselves, the irori, a kotatsu and of course a dozen different landscape shots.

  • Kanakana

    3. Kanakana

    Japanese Drama - 2022, 28 episodes

    8.5

Amazing comedy, stellar acting, great story and relatable characters. Everyone was so adorable I thought I would die from my heart melting.

  • The Hope

    4. The Hope

    Chinese Drama - 2023, 30 episodes

    8.0

A heartwarming story of forming friendships, growing, learning and supporting each other. There's no heros here, only hope.

    And the OST ist great.

  • Dearest

    5. Dearest

    Japanese Drama - 2021, 10 episodes

    8.0

Heartwrenching until the end with an intriguing plot, loads of mysteries and characters you don't dare root for. OST is very good, too.

  • The Knockout

    6. The Knockout

    Chinese Drama - 2023, 39 episodes

    8.0

Not only culturally interesting, but strategically smart, I ended up rooting for both sides equally as each character tried to do what they thought was right. Amazing play with morals, watching people strategize against each other in ways rarely to be found in other modern dramas.

  • Dalah: Death and the Flowers

    7. Dalah: Death and the Flowers

    Thai Drama - 2025, 6 episodes

    8.0

A visually stunning mystery case with not much mystery and a lot of family drama made this a short but satisfying watch. I liked many of the characters, despite the lack of insight. Don't skip the intro.

  • Disarming Romance

    8. Disarming Romance

    Korean Drama - 2022, 3 episodes

    9.0

It's very short and had absolutely nothing original to it, but I was rooting for the characters every second of it. If you have half an hour to spare and need something easy and cheerful, you won't waste your time.

  • No, Handsome Guy

    9. No, Handsome Guy

    Chinese Drama - 2024, 20 episodes

    7.5

One of the best short stories I watched so far and the only one I wish was a proper series.

  • Galileo

    10. Galileo

    Japanese Drama - 2007, 10 episodes

    8.0

Interesting crimes that aren't easy to guess from the start even when you're a rather experienced watcher.

  • A Calm Sea and Beautiful Days with You

    11. A Calm Sea and Beautiful Days with You

    Japanese Drama - 2025, 10 episodes

    7.5

Sometimes a bit too tense and awkward with some overacting. The pace slowed down a lot towards later episodes, too. Wish the secondary couple had more screentime, they were awesome and such a good counterbalance to the adorable mains.

  • Cafe Midnight

    12. Cafe Midnight

    Korean Special - 2020, 1 episode

    8.5

Soo calming and relaxing with an intriguing concept and a nice message. A bit hard to get into the first ten minutes, but so worth it!

  • When Morning Comes, I Feel Empty

    13. When Morning Comes, I Feel Empty

    Japanese Movie - 2022

    7.5

Calm and relaxing with a common but no less inspirational message. I loved watching the characters' slow development, building relationships until step by step everything felt more okay.
