1. Ao Haru Ride Season 2
Japanese Drama - 2024, 6 episodes
I liked it more than the first season, but a couple minor aspects stopped me from rating it higher. Really loved how everyone dealt with their struggles and grew into them without going out of character. Cinematography was amazing and the mains were so cute, too.

2. Tale of the Nine-Tailed 1938
Korean Drama - 2023, 12 episodes
Hopping from side-quest to side-quest felt a bit straining at times and the character's stupidity a bit inconsistent, but I liked the comedy and found it to be an overall very entertaining watch.
-
3. Kaguya-sama: Love Is War - Mini
Japanese Drama - 2021, 5 episodes
It was hilariously overexaggerated. I liked it.
-
4. Valentine's Day / Rokkaku
Japanese Special - 2020, 1 episode
Cute, but the issues they ran into weren't my cup of tea
-
5. She Loves to Cook, and She Loves to Eat
Japanese Drama - 2022, 10 episodes
Nice and calm with an amazing friendship between both women and delicious-looking food.
-
6. The K2
Korean Drama - 2016, 16 episodes
From On-Hold
ML was overpowered, FL over-unpowered, plot needed a blindfold, OST was amazing.
-
7. Ao Haru Ride
Japanese Drama - 2023, 8 episodes
Realistic story with wholesome friendships, well-written characters and a lot of emotional turmoil. I just wanted something more fluffy.
-
8. Aoshima-kun Is a Bully!
Japanese Drama - 2024, 9 episodes
FL annoyed me, not in her concerns but in her way of dealing with them. ML was a big green flag despite the title and they were both so cute together. Last three episodes were way too over the top though.
-
9. Jack & Joker: U Steal My Heart!
Thai Drama - 2024, 12 episodes
From On-Hold
The drama that deserves the name because this was packed with drama. Unneccessarily so. Everyone is an idiot and the main couple spent a lot of time not together. Chemistry was great, but that's about it.
-
10. Higuma
Japanese Drama - 2020, 10 episodes
Cute and funny with more depth than you'd expect.
-
11. Ultimate Note
Chinese Drama - 2020, 36 episodes
From On-Hold
Absolutely overhyped. Bromance was good, the rest mediocre. They even copy-pasted scenes from the first season into this one. Also, what do you mean a series in the Lost Tomb franchise doesn't have a tomb?
-
12. Fly Close to the Ground
Chinese TV Show - 2022, 4 episodes
It was nice, Wu Lei's energy kept the show going and the landscape shots kept me glued to the screen.
-
13. Higuma Season 2
Japanese Drama - 2021, 6 episodes
Just as cute and funny as the first season but not sure about certain parts of it. They clearly ran out of ideas there.
-
14. Wonderland of Love
Chinese Drama - 2023, 40 episodes
From On-Hold
Xu Kai's acting was great, the OST was good, the banter had great chemistry. Plot and pacing were highly off though and characters inconsistent.
-
15. The Best Thing
Chinese Drama - 2025, 28 episodes
From On-Hold
A visually pleasing calm drama that sadly went down too far on drama lane with shallow characterisation and a mediocre OST.
-
16. Brain Works
Korean Drama - 2023, 16 episodes
From On-Hold
I really hoped to learn at least a couple fun facts about the brain, but this was a mindless show (pun intended) with so few realism it could have classified as low fantasy. The premise was interesting but that's about it.
-
17. Koko wa Ima kara Rinri desu
Japanese Drama - 2021, 8 episodes
Great start with a rough fall. Going from informed consent and respecting and setting boundaries to ignoring consent and boundaries altogether really doesn't sit well with me. What a disappointment.
-
18. I Will Be Your Bloom
Japanese Drama - 2022, 10 episodes
From On-Hold
I can't even say what I was missing, I missed it all. Music had too much autotune, characters acted like teenagers, the forbidden romance sucked. It was like looking at a picture of chocolate cake instead of eating it. The satisfaction hits different and at some point you'd rather not watch instead of seeing what you can't have.
-
19. I Hear the Sunspot
Japanese Drama - 2024, 12 episodes
From On-Hold
It started off so well then went downhill. ML was noisy, they were both idiots and FL had absolutely no character development. The portrayal of the disability seemed all over the place and educational, the plot an unfocused mess. I wanted to like this, but I just can't.
-
20. Tsuge & Minato
Japanese Special - 2020, 1 episode
Not a fan of 2nd couple and this couldn't change it
