Katreeya English, nicknamed Kat, is a British-Thai singer, actress, and model born in Oxford, United Kingdom. She is a Eurasian, with a British father and Thai mother, and is also fluent in both Thai and English.

She lived in many cities as a child because of her father's career. She attended the School of St Helen and St Katharine and moved to Brunei and Singapore- At the age of 14, she returned to Thailand to study. She graduated from the Faculty of Liberal Arts Major in English from Assumption University.

She started in show business by appearing in Jetrin’s “Kong Wai” music video at age 14. Then she became one of the successful actresses on Thai television.

After gaining fame as an actress, Kat has expanded her repertoire into pop music. Her first album “Kat Around The Clock” was released in 2001 and got a big hit. She has released 5 albums, the most recent of which is Sassy K on GMM Grammy. In 2015, she recorded "They Call Us The Royals", a new song for Reading F.C. of the Football League Championship.
