Born in China in 1929, Helen Li Mei moved to Hong Kong in 1949. She became an actress who appeared in over 50 Hong Kong films. She was also a director, producer, and singer. While shooting the film The International Secret Agents (1966) she met the man who would become her husband, an American ex-CIA agent. She emigrated to the United States and died there in 1994 at the age of 64. Edit Biography
