Yang Jun Yong was born in Beijing and graduated from the Central Academy of Drama. He was a first class actor of the China Children's Art Theatre and a member of the Central Dramatists Association. Since his debut in 1983, he had acted in many historical TV dramas, such as "Romance of the Three Kingdoms", "Dream of Red Mansions", "Long March", "Empress Wu Cheh Tien", etc.
