Mok Hong See was a prolific Hong Kong film writer and director. "His series of professional women's films, such as "Factory Queen", "Two Women in the City" (1963), "Modern Girl" (1963) and "Dim Sum Queen" (1965), reflected his keen sense of the times and urban changes, capturing the phenomenon of Hong Kong entering the economic take-off period in the sixties, when Eastern culture was heavily influenced by Western culture and the social status of men and women began to shift." He died in Hong Kong in April 1969.
