Park Sang Young is a South Korean novelist and scriptwriter. He graduated from Sungkyunkwan University with a double bachelor's degree in French Language and Literature and in Journalism. He later obtained a master's degree in Creative Writing from Dongguk University.

He made his debut in 2016 when he won the New Writer's Award for his short story, "Looking for Paris Hilton". His breakthrough came with the 2019 novel "Love in the Big City" that was later translated into multiple languages, nominated for the prestigious Booker Prize in 2022 and adapted into a movie and a drama series. He is represented by Blossom Creative (블러썸 크리에이티브).
