Takeuchi Bunpei is a Japanese actor born in Geoyang, Jeollanamdo, South Korea during the Japanese colonial period. He graduated from the Faculty of Arts at Nihon University.

After graduating from university, he participated in the founding of the Bunkaza theater company in 1947. Subsequently, he joined the Sozorozakai theater company, and after leaving in 1957, he joined Group Tevra and shifted his activities mainly to radio. He later participated in the founding of the Tsukushi Group. He was affiliated with Enishi Production and Sun Promotion.
