He made his debut in 2011 as a sports commentator for PAX TV before joining MBC Sports later that year. He remained in the network for 11 years before deciding to become a freelancer. He began doing work for Coupang in 2023 and for tvN in 2024. He has covered speed skating and bobsleigh at the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang, archery, modern pentathlon and badminton at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, soccer at the 2023 AFC Asian Cup, and baseball and basketball during the regular seasons of both professional leagues.
He is currently represented by DCL Entertainment (디씨엘이엔티).
