Han Geng is a Chinese singer, dancer, actor, and former member of SUPER JUNIOR (슈퍼주니어). He graduated from Central National University with a bachelor's degree in Dance. During his years at the university, he mastered all 56 types of traditional dances from China's 56 ethnic groups, received training in ballet and martial arts, and performed in many countries, including the United States and Russia.

He was recruited in 2001 after he passed an audition hosted by SM Entertainment (SM엔터테인먼트) in Beijing. Lee Soo Man wanted to create a versatile group with members who had experience in different fields (acting, dancing, presenting, etc.). He based his idea on the Japanese girl group MORNING MOSUME (モーニング娘), who debuted in 1997 and established a successful rotation of their lineup since then. He called his new group, SUPER JUNIOR 05.

He made his debut in November 2005 as the group's sub-vocalist and lead dancer with their first single, “Twins (Knock Out)“, part of their debut album "Twins", which was released one month later. However, he obtained an E-6 (entertainment industry) visa, and under South Korean rules, Chinese nationals with this visa were limited to appearing on only 3 TV stations. SM was unaware of this rule and was fined multiple times. For three months, he performed on stage with a mask and a hat to hide his face on screen. Finally, he signed a contract to appear on KBS and SBS, and during a show, Kim Hee Chul took his mask off and revealed his face to the public.

As part of SM's strategy to not limit the group's activities while certain members focused on their individual careers, several sub-groups have been created since their debut. He became part of SUPER JUNIOR-M (슈퍼주니어-M), focused solely on the Chinese market and debuted in April 2008 with the single "U".

But, in December 2009, he sued SM Entertainment, arguing that the 13-year length and structure of their exclusive contracts, as well as the terms of profit distribution, were unilaterally disadvantageous towards the artists and should be invalidated. Further, the agency had not given him a single day off in over two years, causing him to develop gastritis and kidney disease. In December 2010, the Court ruled in his favor, but SM decided to appeal the decision immediately. Finally, in September 2011, he reached an agreement with SM and his contract was terminated, also marking his departure from SUPER JUNIOR.

He had been working in China since early 2010 and in June of that year, he debuted as a solo artist with the album, "The Heart of Geng" and also debuted as an actor in the US-Chinese movie "My Kingdom".

He married Hong Kong actress Celina Jade in December 2019, and they welcomed their first child in September 2022. He currently owns his own eyewear brand and his own customized phone and continues to promote as a singer and actor in China and Hong Kong, represented by Yue Hua Entertainment (위에화엔터테인먼트).
