Yin Ming Zhu, born Yin Shang Xian (殷尚贤) in Wujiang, Jiangsu, China, was a Chinese actress. Orphaned at the age of 13, she and her family relocated to Shanghai in 1917 after her late father left behind a winning lottery ticket. She attended McTyeire School for Girls and later worked at a post office before becoming a fashion model. Her acting debut was in the film "Sea Oath", directed by Dan Du Yu (但杜宇), the founder of Shanghai Shadow Play Company. She married Dan Du Yu in 1926, and they moved to Hong Kong in 1937. The couple had one daughter, Judy Dan.
